Hi, everyone! Sorry if this isn't exactly the right place for formatting questions. I'm in the process of writing a story where one of the characters' names is entirely redacted, and in my outline I've been formatting it with five Unicode block characters, specifically █ (U+2588).
When publishing my first story using the plaintext input (i.e. not uploading a .doc or .rtf file), I noticed that certain characters would get re-formatted (for example, my em dashes all became double-hyphens). I'm wondering if that specific block character will also cause formatting issues, and if that issue can be relieved by uploading a .doc or .rtf file. Otherwise, I'm wondering if there's a similar text character I could use for a similar purpose?
For example, the character's name is often written as "Dr. █████". Though, if I'm unable to use a character that simulates redacted text, there are definitely workarounds (for example, she's also frequently referred to as just "the doctor").
