Question for all authors

I've found that my righting come in cycles oddly enough. Sometimes I'll fire up the comp to work on something creative and just stare at the screen. Other times the night over and I didn't see it go. When I am in the zone I can get a lot done, if I'm not, might as well play a game or some shit, cause it isn't gonna happen.

My stories seem to ambush me at work. Boom. There they are in my head. In my line of work I can't stop and write these things down.

I have tried to write an erotica story and can't get into it. What do you guys do to get motivated? Are there any tricks that works for you? Thanks!

Don't try to write an erotic story unless that's what's driving you. Just write a story, any story, if erotica turns up... well then you have an erotic story.

And what's the motivation for writing even that if you aren't compeled to write? If you are compeled to write, just sit down and start doing it.
