Quietly Looking

Thank you for the bump Auraka... hot in the pants?

*chuckle*

Admit it- it's the proper grammar that does it, isn't it? ;)

Thank you for the kind words, RawHumor... I swear I'm going to get a big head if y'all keep saying how lucky my Lover will be...

Honestly... the grammar does do something major for me. There is nothing sexier than an intelligent woman. Like everyone else, I am very sorry I don't live in Texas.

I'm noticing that... I put the same ad up at CollarMe last night, anticipating a dirth of "kneepads optional" responses (as it seems a most common complaint);however, I've been quite surprised by the small number of replies, which have reflected a charming degree of intelligent, gentlemanly, respectful discourse...

As I am sure you have noticed, most ads aren't as well written (or as well thougth out) as the one you posted. That makes you stand out.

grammar, schmammer!

Cutie's got the "hot, sexy librarian" thing going ON!

Well duh. An intelligent brain, good grammar and spelling skills, and the ability to express herself are all great and all, but let's not forget - she's also hot - the important things.

Hehe... she is quite attractive. I guess that makes it the whole package.

Sigh.

*hearing RJ's voice in my head telling me to learn to accept a f*cking compliment for Christ's sake...*

Thank you, EG, Raw, and Ammontet.

Cutie's found someone, so I don't think she needs her personal ad bumped up any more. :)

See I was just gonna let it die a quiet death, since I think it fell off the first page rather quickly, but Bunny's right - the ad did it's job, so no need to bump. :)

Congratulations... I am very happy for you.

How nice

CutieMouse,

How nice it is to know that there are beautiful, intelligent, elegant women in the world who are still in touch with the fact they are women. And who are in touch with the those special needs a woman has. Unfortunately, too many women see it as a sign of weakness to succumb to their carnal desire to be both loved and possessed.

Oh how nice it would be to come home from that gallery opening with you, then enjoy a cognac while watching you slip out of that cocktail dress and into the outfit I laid out for you on the bed. Then, when properly attired, you could curl up at my feet as the lesson would begin. Oh the things we could do ...

So sad, though. While I lived in the Lone Star State 20 years ago, I am now wiggling my toes in the Florida sand.

Cheers and good luck.

It would be most polite to say the promises made this summer, were not kept, so I'm back to quietly looking for a Lover...

At least you lived in a seasoned world. Love is a tough business. As Kahlil Gibran reminds us.

All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life's heart.

But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure,

Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love's threshing-floor,

Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.

Supurbly written profile,

I thouroughly enjoyed it. I'm Bill, 48 and from Virginia and would love to speak with you sometime.

Warm Regards,
Bill

CM -

I would concur with many of the posts in this thread... your ad is very well written and if you were interested in living in the Portland Oregon area I would be wanting to talk a lot more with you.... and I do believe that an INFJ and a INTJ are pretty compatible too.... all the best to you....

CM, you sound so interesting and you look so cute in the pics I've seen. I've seen your answers to others as strict (which a lot of us need), sensitive, and smart. I hope you find someone that deserves you, so...BUMP.
