It was cool here today. We're back to having normal May San Diego weather this week.

Well, I was in San Diego from June 28, 1994-September 16, 1994 and it rained twice. Once, for 5 seconds and once for 3 seconds. It would have been a beautiful time, except for four letters...U...S...M...C..., and I was in wonderful shape when I got there and I enjoyed it, but I didn't get to enjoy the weather.

Yep, not much rain here....it is a desert afterall. We have a rainy season that lasts for about 2 weeks in Feb--that's about it.

It's a great city..lots to do here and you just cannot beat SD weather most of the time.

I absolutely LOVE San Diego. If you could lose about 75% of the people, it would be a great place to live (as it is- the 3 hour drive to visit whenever I want doesn't bother me at all)

That's true...it would be nice to keep a little distance from LA.

But, soon I'll have tons of distance between myself and LA.....like the whole country. I'm moving to the southeastern coast this summer....so SD will be losing a few people..lol not that it won't be gaining a bunch of others though.

That's where I wanted to move when I retired from the Navy, but the job market wasn't too great. I miss my trees

I'm originally from Georgia, so I miss lots of things about the southeast. Thunderstorms--the way things smell after one of them--changing colors in the fall--real bar be que....lol

'm looking forward to going back. This time I'll be in SC on the coast, so I'll still have an ocean to go walking on the shores of. I really like SD, but this is gonna be a good move.
