I had Gastric Bypass back in October. I wish I could say I had done this all alone, but I had to take drastic measures. But I am glad I did it.

I'm in a size 9 panty now, where I was in a 14.

My mum has thought about having that done...the weight loss would do wonders for her arthritis...but at the moment she doesn't want to risk the operation...

It's just a bummer to think about sometimes, the drastic step it took and the path that lays before me. I'll have to have skin surgeries when my weight stabilizes. Thank you though.

She's been doing the same...and the arthritis mean less movement and so more weight gain...and so it gets worse...

I suffered joint pain, sleep apnea, and high blood pressure. Two weeks after the surgery the sleep apnea was almost non-existent and is now. The high blood pressure... gone. The joint pain, gone (Unless the weather goes funky). I started at 403 and I'm now 260.
