real cannibalism, do not read this!

Thank you for debunking that. :)

On a truthful, disgusting side note: Haitian migrant workers buy goats from the locals in my area and purposely save the intestines to make a soup that serves as an aphrodisiac.

Not that I believe it works or understand how someone could knowingly eat such a dish?

I'm just saying...............

Chitterlings. You live in the South, right?

Now, am I going to eat it? Nope, but I can see that other folks will.

People have done even grosser and more vile things than that for fertility. Their was one civilization (Jericho, I think) that buried live infants in their walls for fertility. How's that for nasty.

Not chitterlings in this case..............those are commercially washed hog intestines that are inspected and graded as safe for human consumption.

The way he described it was ''goat gut soup''.................oh yea, we got an invite to try it too!

We passed on that though........................

Doesn't that kind of defeat the point? Simplistic logic: you want babies, therefore you kill babies?

Well, these days they're commercially washed. Back in the day, they were hand-washed just like the goat-gut soup you're referring to.

Again, however, I'm in agreement that it sounds nasty, but I can see it as food. Well, food for other people.
