Recent Changes to the Comments Hub?

The Comments Hub appears to have changed where only the first page shows recent comments (a few minutes or hours before). Once you click on page 2 the Comments are 20+ days old and they are not updated. The same comments gets stuck in place for weeks. Only the first page updates, but now much fewer recent comments are vidible at any point.
Is this on purpose or a glitch?

I can confirm this observation. It is the same in the German section.

I wonder if this will be fixed? It was much better a few weeks/months ago before some modifications were brought to the site, apparently. It worked well when all recent comments were visible and gradually moved over to make room for all the new ones. Now it seems that only a few comments make it to the Hub at all.
