I love pms. Anyone who wants to can send them to me. I'm much rather get to know someone in private than to post public messages.

I only think it's weird if you PMed someone and they replied and you ignored them. That's all I meant. If someone doesn't want to talk to me why PM me in the first place?

A lot of forums are more strict than this one. Things like saying "nice avatar" should be handled by PM rather than posting just to say that. You can even get suspended from the forum for repeatedly breaking rules like that.

I know that when I receive a PM, it's pretty much 90% odds I'll have a hardon before I'm halfway through reading it. The dirtier, the more likely I'll be stroking myself before I'm 3/4s of the way through! ;)

I love getting PMs but don't get all that many. I send some on occasion too, maybe that is the reason.
 
Some of the best ones cum out of nowhere. Last night is a prime example. I got PM's and sent messages back and forth till we were all drained.Lots of hot members on lit;)

One of my favorite forums has NO messaging function, and it drives me nuts. Another forum has PMs and also "visitor" messages which are left on your profile, and I never know which I should be leaving. I like Lit's compromise: just PMs. :)

PMs are like a box of chocelet you never know what your gonna get. im guilty of not ansering some i receive idont mean to be rude sometimes i just forget so i apoligise to those i havnt returned and for my spelling(spell check bounced)

It's not lit's compromise. Lit is a V Bulletin forum, so it comes with PM by default. As far as I can see, they just took the standard software and used it as is for the forum. It's not like some forums where the owners have had all kinds of things coded in or bought special features from V Bulletin. I think the only thing they added to the forum is that Literotica logo at the top. Of course, we don't really need all the fancy shit, but if it weren't standard, we probably wouldn't have PM, either. ;)
