ah, well, there my friend you simply do not understand the Canadian mindset. you don't mess with a beloved cultural icon like her. no one would stand for a sexualized version of the author of some of the most well known and beloved Canadian novels....now the Japanese, they might buy it. They lovelovelove the whole "Anne of Green Gables" thing and swarm Prince Edward Island annually to go and see the trappings of the house et al. But that's a story for another day.

lol...i have little to no interest in learning Japanese. i already speak 5 languages and am soon to embark on yet another language course.
