I did a google search under "groups" for my name today and I found a few embarassing posts I made almost 10 years ago. Most were discussing sports (trades, playoffs, players, etc.)

But, in one I said I was looking for an older woman ("mommy"). I was like 16 when I did that, and I said I had a fetish for older women. It was in alt.sex.incest. I can't believe I posted that shit. I found it when I searched "find all posts by this user" using my name on some onnocuous posts I made about sports. I can't fucking believe that shit like that can be traced back to me.

Then, there were also about 10 I made asking about using drugs, etc. These were done 6-7 years ago when I was into that shit. Those in groups like alt.drugs or alt.drugs.psychedelics.

My question is this: Is there any way at all I can remove those from those newsgroups so that I can forget about them and hope nobody I know has searched that shit out? I have long deleted that email address.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

In short... No. Once they're out there they're out there, stored in multiple archives on multiple computers.

thanks for the reply.

I found I can remove than from google gruops search, but that is about it. Anybody know of other Usenet archives I can delete my posts from?

Live and learn, I guess.
