When I remove a story, does the process take a month or more, as with edits?

The last time I removed a story, I don't think it took that long... but I think it did take a bit longer than getting a story approved for publishing.

It takes a while, yes. Two or three weeks, anecdotally. The site's priority is publishing new content, not catering for people who change their mind about publishing.

Granted, the main reason I thought about it was the idea that I might be able to remove a chapter and repost it faster than I could get an edit.

My tenth submission went up today, and the title change on the first one is still pending.

I put through a deletion request in November last year. It took about a month.

I removed a story once, it took about as long as publishing one, i.e. around a week.
