I followed instructions for removing my stories from Lit, but the stories are still published. Does anyone have a tip for reaching editors or admin who will respect my request and remove my stories from Lit?

My first request was dated 3/11/26, second request 8/2826; both show up as Drafts in My Stories.

So, they're published and also drafts? That would seem to be a glitch, if so.

Are you saying that the stories you want deleted are visible to normal users like me? The only stories I see on your account were published in 2020, are those the stories you want deleted?

If they're in the drafts folder, then you missed a step. You're the only one who can see them.

Go to the drafts folder, open up the most recent one, scroll to the bottom, and click the "preview" button. Then, scroll to the bottom of the preview and click the "publish" button. That will move it to the "Pending" folder, where it needs to be.

That will put it in the queue where Laurel can see it and act on it. It will probably still take a little while to process once it hits the queue. Edits normally have a low priority, but deletes that are plainly marked should be easier, and may at least get top priority in the edit queue.

But @irishmile2001 wants to delete the stories, not publish them.

Thanks! I'll try and see what happens.

Thanks for the guidance. I have followed your direction and the stories are now gone. Appreciate your help.

So technically your query and request has been resolved, but the thread is still open.
