The 90k thing (or 82k or whatever) applies to garden-variety people working outside the country. It doesn't apply to certain types of jobs involving the military in high-risk areas. I don't have all the details on hand.

It's one of the things the contractor used to recruit all of us here.

Maybe this comes from the same "hate" that some people threw at The First Lady for wearing designer sneakers she chose and paid for herself to a charity event way back when any nontroversy over Obama & Co. was the new black.

As a former business owner, I understand in principle where he is coming from regarding an increase in taxes.

However......he will get zero sympathy from the tens of millions of unemployed/underemployed people in this country.

It's not as bad as Patrick Ewing's bit of stupidity years ago ("We make a lot of money -- but we spend a lot of money, too!"), but it's close.
