Zarl, of the Macrai-Itoche
The flute dropped from his lips, and he hazarded a glance over his shoulder. He put an arm around her waist, pulling her against him as he put away his flute. His other hand curled around the hilt of his katana as he looked back at her face.
"Yes. It is a power I am familiar with, the power of my creation. It is strong,...." He smiled at her softly, reassuring her. "But nothing I can't protect you from." Silently, he hoped it were true. It was a powerful force, and he was not so sure he could stand against it, but he didn't let her see that.
"Most humans, though, don't notice it that much. How can you tell?" He raised an eyebrow as he looked at her. It was true, not many humans could feel the flow of magical power. Even he could only feel the powers of darkness, and it had to be very strong for him to tell.
He smiled at her, and pulled her tight against himself. "So, while we're walking,....tell me more about yourself, Bunny?"
