Resident Evil: Evolution

I looked at the young woman who had just told me to stop shooting people in surprise. It was the first order that I had ever gotten this night and it was from a girl who looked young enough to be my neice.

"Okay, what would you like me to do then? Do you want me to tell them nicely to go away? Because I don't think that they will listen to me. If you think that you can do better though then you can by all means try but you will be calling out for help before you know it and guess who will have to start shooting again. I know that it seems like an inconvenience to you but we have to get the hell out of here now before we are all ripped apart by those people that are coming towards us. I hope that you don't have any problems with that?"

He knew then that it was wrong of him to get angry at her but she didn't seem to have a clear grasp on the situation that they were in. The city had seemed to have gone straight to hell and they were the only sane ones left. He turned quickly to look at the Irish man and said, "I hope that your apartment is close because the way things are now I don't think we will be able to last through a long run."

"I'm already in the damn car!" I found myself screaming at the strange irishman. I was more than a little upset by now. I mean... he had given me a lecture! Daniel had actually lectured me!

Who had given him the goddamned right to sit there and tell me off just because HE was shooting people!

I found myself shivering then and it dimly registered that I was experiencing shock. I had been feeling this way since I had heard the Danielle was dead... and then she came back. And now... I wasn't sure, but I think she never really did come back.

I looked at the others and found myself crossing my fingers and hoping that the men with the guns survived. I mean... I can't exactly be expected to shoot people myself, can I?

Blinking through some unshed tears, I turned around in my seat to look at the others again. "I'm sorry..."

And then, I passed out.
