Taking a deep breath she did what she had to do. She changed out of her travel clothing as she waited for the results to show up. She was tempted to look but she kept her promise as she returned back to where George was waiting "are you sure you want to know?" She asked.

George waited for her in his 'island outfit'"Of course I do - for better or for worse I want to know - although I struggle to think what would be the 'bad' outcome of this"

Taking a moment she read the first test to herself before saying it aloud "negative..." She said quietly. She quickly looked at the other two "negative and... Negative..."

George spread his arms and hugged Anna "You really wanted them to be positive, didn't you?" He slid his hand over the back of her head, caressing her hair "Don't worry baby, Ive heard people try for babies for long long time - besides if you're into it, we could try and make one while we're here

"I'm not sure what to think... I guess I just really thought they would be positive. This wasn't what I was expecting." She said resting her head on his shoulder "I don't know how to feel..."

"Feel sad for a little while if that gets you over it, dear" he caressed her hair still "Then, when you feel better about it, and we put it behind us lets enjoy the time we have here - and that way we can live this island to the fullest"

"Okay." She said quietly "how do you feel? What were you hoping it would be?" She asked wrapping her arms around him.

"I really hoped it was positive too." He pulled back to smile at her, holding her head by her sides "But don't worry about it, we'll make it positive, just you wait and see" He chuckled as he pulled her to his chest again "And have wild, unprotected sex with me"

"Let's get going to dinner..." She said pulling away from "I just want to forget about it for now..." Anna sighed throwing the tests into a nearby garbage can.

George arranges the car to haul their luggage to the hotel while he and his fiancee take the taxi to the lovely restaurant Anna picked earlyier. All the time during the ride he makes his best to make her cheer up, with as little intrusion ass possible

"Maybe it's for the best." Anna finally said after a couple minutes "maybe we aren't supposed to have a child, at least not yet...."

"Gosh Anna, it will happen - We havent even tried that much. Here, order the food and ill get us some cocktails

She sighed sitting down and ordering them something to eat. "I'm sorry..." She said when he returned "I was just so sure..."

"Here then, to new beginnings!" George raised the glass of a beautiful sommer cocktail, umbrella and all "last one when i returned was a good break, lets hope for a better one now"

"Alright, a new beginning." She said raising her glass before taking a sip "so what would you like to do when we are finished here?" She asked "anything you want to see or do?"

"We could stroll around the area, find a beach perhaps? I'm a bit tired, how bout you - wanna go to the hotel first to rest a bit?"

"Yeah, a nap sounds pretty good right now. It's been quite a long day..." Anna said "I could use some sleep."

"Right, I'll get the cab to drive us to the hotel"

During th ride, George holds Annas hand, fingers intwertwined and cant keep his eyes off her - off her lovely face, hair, and feels the lovely scent from her new perfume

"So what is the hotel supposed to look like?" She asked relaxing, her head on his shoulder.

George took out the travel guide prospect from his back pocket

"Here, take a look"

"Seems expensive." She said shocked as she looked through paper he handed her "how can you afford this?" She asked.

"That was the other surprise I was keeping for tonight" George shifted in his seat to look at Anna in her eyes

"Heck, might as well tell you now... I got the job with the army. It's local, but if you move with your work they can easily shift me to other branch. It's about making a network to help discharged soldiers to cope with their injuries and blending back in the society"

"That's terrific." She said smiling "so does this mean we can start looking at houses when we get back home?" Anna asked "Maybe we could find one with room for a nursery..."

"Of course - I didn't let no one even try thinking about doing that for us. Our house is going to be the closest thing to your dreamhouse our town can afford"
