Colt followed his saucy little partner in crime out of the saloon. He only paused to look back at the brothers, and the bar tender slowly getting up from behind the bar. He raised his eyebrows twice.
"Yeah, she's with me."
He walked out, the door shutting behind him made a wonderfully fitting sound to everything. Colt took a few steps, a broad smile on his face, but it was cut short when he saw Erin. She looked like the cat who just swallowed the canary.
He took back his gun, putting it in the rightful holster, "Considering you had to borrow a gun I'd say you were darned lucky. Whoever heard of running around town to random saloons and leaving your gun behind. Perhaps that's your first lesson, carry it on you at all times.
"Although, not quite sure where you would put it," She wore a modest dress, but it fit her like a second skin. He didn't imagine there was many places to hide anything. Although, he might enjoy finding one for her.
Ever the gentleman, Colt shower her to the stables in back of the saloon. He had a black mare who gave a welcoming neigh as he approached. He smiled and petted the horse's nose.
"We ain't got much time. I imagine they'll want to come after us soon as they find some more guns."
He jumped up on his mare. There wouldn't be time to saddle her properly, he would just have to find some of that later. He reached a hand down to his lady luck.
"One little kiss and all of a sudden you're a sharp shooter, I'll keep that in mind."
He was glad she couldn't see the charming grin on his face as they rode towards the livery.
