Well it just so happens I have my camping pop corn maker here.. With a little oil it allows me to cook pop corn over an open fire.. Like say the Fire Place over there..

Kernels of popped corn greet me as I come down from my loft. The windows of the Inn heavily frosted by Jack Frost brush the air still and the cold sharp and cutting to the bone the temperature well below “0” F.

I stoke the fire on the hearth and feed it wood the flames sensually licking at the logs and its heat slowly radiating to warm and comfort.

I have to work in just over half an hour I have to face the outside world (uggh)

Ah This is my quite time of year Amy. Work does not start back up until April I fear so it is a long, long, winter for me.

I have a couple of projects to do some research but that’s about it.

Not very exciting I fear.

I don't know if I could handle that much down time Cg...I have worked for so long that the idea of a winter off sounds enticing, but at the same time I think I would go stir crazy.

As for exciting, you might just have to make your own!
