Hi and good morning Shannon, yes, I had surgery...had my appendix out for a nice christmas day present lol. It went well and the recovery is going pretty good too, I am just a sore lady the past little while, this is the first morning I have been able to sit up for more than a few minutes at a time.

Ouch. I have had my gall bladder out so I have some idea of what you speak. I am glad everything went well and you are beginning to feel better.

I am doing ok. I think I am getting a sore throat though ~ yuck. I am not surprised with the crazy winter we are having. Its going to be almost 50 here this morning and this is December.

Hmm have you tried to gargle with salt water? (my mom used to try to talk me into that every time I got a sore throat-I got to the point i wouldn't admit it was sore anymore lol)

Haven't tried that yet. Just have the tell tale tickle nothing else yet. I am just trying to stay with hot liquids keeping it clear.

All our snow melted with the last rain. I don't like it when it rains either. Our drive way is just gravel and it gets to be like a mud fest out here. But it is pretty though, not the mud ~ where the house sits. I'm such a goof this morning.
