I did indeed have a lovely time in France....ate many pastries that I'm not really supposed to ....but then, I guess, dieting stops for a little while.

Sorry you've got warm weather up there, Cuddly Tiger....you should go to Strasbourg. It was blinkin' freezing there! Somewhere in the range of -7 degrees celcius

the sounds of birds rouses me and I open my eyes, realising that another day has begun. Pouring my morning coffee, stoking up the fire, these simple tasks done I creep into the kitchen, looking for a bite to eat, half wondering if I shall meet the kitchens master while I'm there. spotting noone, i make some toast, carefully cleaning the crumbs away when I am done

it was indeed the best rest i've had in a while Cg, i never realised how comfortable a lap could be

with a smile I lean into Cg's kiss returning it before breaking away slowly, moving to the coffeepot and pouring refills without asking

I wish I could stick around to see the new high-neck, long-sleeved, below-the-knee, full-modesty costumes the female entertainers will wear this year, but it's a gorgeous day and there are too few of those between hurricane seasons. France was wonderful, but exhausting...I found myself going back to the hotel for naps in the late afternoon and never got around to sending family and friends even a single postcard

But I found out why I'm so tired.
