It was a work weekend full of meetings and planning for events coming up this summer and fall. Not very exciting but a last necessary.

Hmmm nope...that doesn't sound like much fun, but definitely productive. Are you guys doing anything special this summer?

Well we planed a couple of international events, as well as several that are specific to the 250 anniversary of the Seven Years War. It looks like things will get quite busy between now and 2010.

I'm doing ok, I have a funeral to go to on the morrow for a security officer I worked with for 7 years. a bunch of us from work will be going in our uniforms as a show of respect.

That sonds somber, but definitely worthwhile, I'm sure his family will really appreciate that.

I fear I have to run-have to take my munchkin to the drs this morning.

no but thank you anyway. I just need to be there for the friends that are still here with me. thats what my coworker would have wanted, there are people at work who have known him longer and are so upset that the have taken sick days from work while they were on shift. it has hit us all hard because he had lung cancer but was in remission, he had a heart attack or stroke. but things will get better soon.

I have been rather busy myself getting ready for work which starts in two weeks. Then the hectic time begins for me long hours and all that.
