Morning all!

Apologies for not posting recently, but have been busy preparing a job application and then doing the interview and various presentations.
Time consuming but all worth while as I got it!!!
Soooo.... I have my dream job to go to in January ... I'm a happy bunny!!

Thought I'd stop by and leave a stack of celebratory croissants ...
I'll make a pot of coffee and leave it perking ...

Freshly baked croissants and no Chanaud .. Im starting to get worried, she used to grab every croissant she could find here.

a few degrees above freezing point and rain ... guess I should have figured it out that we can't have summer all the year. Wraps a blanket around me and hopes that someone will light the fire.

Phew .. I need a rest after all this snow shovelling. Winter came two weeks too early for my liking but I guess I shouldn't complain since it might mean much more skiing this year.

Mari .. I think that it needs more then coffee to warm me up now so a fire sounds great *grins*

Turk .. Have you everything under control regarding the upcoming party. It is less then a week until the 8th so you better get busy we can't run out of wine on a day like that.

Sighing, Maggie piled her long black hair on top of her head, securing it with a band, and splashed her face with water. After cleaning the tub out, and finishing her water, she returned to the kitchen to set down her glass and cut two slices of cucumber.

She carried them to the bedroom, shed her towel, and situated herself in the bed. She glanced at the alarm clock and growled. Three forty-five. She checked to make sure that the alarm was on, and laid back on the pillows. She placed the two cucumber slices on her eyes and covered herself. She wasn't sure the cucumbers had any effect at all, but Maggie figured it couldn't hurt. Besides, it did serve to block out the blinking light from the club across the street.

I haven't tried the cucumbers yet but I think about Soli's post on nights when I have a hard time falling asleep.

Sadly, many of the Rooftop Regulars are not just gone from Ricks, they no longer frequent Lit at all. My list of those gone MIA include Sexy Chele, Huntress, Chanaud, CaptainB...and...well I could go on all day.

I'm very glad to see that some folks are still around. Thankful to see Subo, HT, and you, CG, still active on the boards.

Now, if the ever faithful Turk will bring out the bubbly, I think we can start the party!
