RIP Britain.

Personally, I like living in the uk. Don't believe everything you see or read on social media or selective media channels. If I believed a lot of things I see reported on the US, I would think its unsafe to roam the streets due to gun crime and drugs. I know that not to be true as I can make up my own mind based upon reality, please do the same when viewing the UK.

Definitely true.

As presumably you agree the Trump ones are?
No, but I'm certainly willing to acknowledge being a convicted terrorist is orders of magnitude worse than being convicted on questioned business paperwork.

i wonder if the uk trump right wingers think that this is payback by the outside of uk people for the british empire taking over most of there countries from the 1600s to 1900s

so when they come to the uk its like supposed to i guess make the uk people mad

Um... so, there are twenty candidates standing for the council seat this guy is hoping to win. I don't think there's any polling suggesting he's more or less likely to win than the other nineteen, although I stand to be corrected?

If he does win, he'll take up one of *sixty nine* seats making up Birmingham city council.

For anyone who doesn't know, city council powers include managing stuff like care homes, bin collection, and road maintenance. His biggest headache will likely be managing the pothole backlog.

So as a resident of the UK I'll probably feel ok to sleep soundly tonight despite our governance arrangements. It doesn't feel like he'd be unilaterally capable of taking us headlong into any illegal religious wars or anything.

The concern is appreciated though. We should all treasure functional democracy, no?

Perhaps after his Afghanistan debacle, they just don't trust your president.
Do you mean Dead joe leaving billions worth of equipment there or are you talking about the men he left over there?

FYI - Islam is a religion.
Sorry that you don't like that.
