RIP Lou Reed.

Really sad :(

With respects, I disagree. He seemed to be a guy who lived life to it's fullest and did so on his own terms.

Sad would have been him doing a medley of his greatest hits with Miley Cyrus at a Super Bowl half time show.

Just one guy's point of view.

I fully agree, I can only see one guy that has talent and could have survived in the 70's and 80's and that is Chester Bedington of Linkin Park and currently Stone Temple Pilots. That guy has some pipes. RIP Lou.

I loved his range of music. Back in the 70's, he was one of the most influential musicians and so many played his songs and had him play on albums.
He always pushed boundaries about acceptability of song material and helped shape song writers to day to go beyond the limits.

Your music and legend will live on Lou. :rose:

It's still sad though 1sb :(
I know his music and influence will live on and on but it's still a sad loss.

It is FaS. I watched a great doc the other night about guitars and guitarists. They profiled Jimmy Page, the Edge and Jack White. All of them spoke at one point how Lou had influenced them in writing and playing.
