Rittenhouse Case....things to consider

If they're public spaces, then I, a member of that public, should be free to enter them, no?

No that is not what it means. Public parks for example, in some places have opening and closing times, you are only welcome there legally during those times.

I'm happy to let the police do their jobs, but if I'm somewhere that a thug decides it's a good idea to assault me and there's no policeman around, then I'm going to resist to the best of my ability. I'm under no obligation to let said thug beat me.

Wow you got one right....the right of self defence....score one for Bud...

Super. Then rioters, naturally, will similarly be ejected.

What about streets in front of a used car dealership? Are those restricted?

Jaywalking is illegal. Kyle was a pedestrian on the street.

How many jaywalkers per street does it take to be legal?

But EVERYONE is allowed to use it when available.

Because it's public.

I'm shocked you even recognize self defense as a right.

Good way to out yourself as a Trumpian Nazi.... good job dipshit, real comrades know white boys aren't allowed to defend themselves, it's RACIST WHITE NATIONALISM when they do it. :D

Rioters are already breaking the law, irrelevant of their locations. However to be a rioter, under the law, LEO need to publicly state this, normally through the reading of the riot act in a manner that is audible. Otherwise they are disturbers of the peace, and yes I assume the LEO would "eject them"....

Now that little piece of legal ease is clear for you,on to your next point.

Good question, one which does not have a clear answer. That answer has many variables,as such, you need to add in way more information before an answer can be given.

"So?? Vandals and looters SHOULD BE SHOT ON SITE."
This is a crime in the USA.

estate of one of the men rittenhouse killed:
a complaint with jury demand has been filed against "all defendants"

The complaint claims police "deputized" 10 armed individuals and "ratified their actions by letting them patrol the streets, armed with deadly weapons, to mete out justice as they saw fit."

It claims the actions of officials led directly to Rittenhouse shooting Rosenbaum and his death, along with the death of Huber and the injury of another victim, Gaige Grosskreutz.
Multiple officers are named in the complaint, including former sheriff of Kenosha County David Beth, former Kenosha Chief of Police Daniel Miskinis, and a number of unknown "John Doe" officers.
rittenhouse is boo booing about it, of course, saying it's making his life sooooo hard, that all these cases against him and lies out there make it hard for him to move on and live his life.

shame.

It just takes one to bollocks justice
Or… some who make decisions politically bs by logic, proof, and the law as they all promise to do.

We need a rational Henry Fonda in all juries to hold them accountable. “Twelve Angry Men”

You know this is an old thread, when Hisarpy/Chobham was still calling himself "Bud Spencer."
