I will do my best to enjoy the weekend though it is off to a lousy start.

I did the exercises today.

Back Stretch and Strengthening 10 each side.
Knee lifts 30

I feel better about myself when I do have this sort of thing to do and more importantly to have to report back to someone on.

Okay, I screwed up some and got a little carried away this afternoon when I did my exercises. This is what I was supposed to do:

Starting 10 Stomach Upper
Starting 15 Stomachs Lower
Starting 20 Side Crunches

Now what I actually did was this:

20 stomach uppers because I did ten each between the stomach lowers.
10 stomach lowers in which I had one HELL of a time because my shoes were on and they believe it or not took the difficulty level several degrees higher so I found myself straining unbelievably until it dawned on my what the problem was.
Then I took my shoes off.

I also did 40 side crunches again because I was doing them between the stomach lowers.

With my shoes off I did 15 stomach lowers.

It was pretty fucking grueling.

Interesting how even the smallest change can make these exercises a nightmare.

Oh and for some reason, on my day off I had back spasms. I have no idea why. That happens to me sometimes. There is never any reason for them that I can tell. Having sex helped ease them for a while.

Use to have do the lower exercises with combat boots on. Oh the joy, so I guess I am doing a little bit of both. :D

You may want to increase your back stretches, if you find them easy to do. Now that you are rquiring more, you muscles may need more stretching. You may even want to do a few stretches before doing the crunches as well.

And remember, under no circumstances while doing these, is your back to be arched or bearing any of the strain. Keep it flat on the ground at all times. If you find yourself using your back doing these, then slow down and do them right.

The tendency in all exercises as you get stronger is to do them faster...with these, the slower you go the more benifit you get out them.

You are absolutely right. I did fuck up some tonight. On the other hand once I figured it out I corrected myself and did them again the right way.

That's what I did today. It's not that they are so hard to do, it's that it takes so long and I have to count while moving!

Ok...that's a wrap for this week.

Its good to see that you have increased your numbers over the span of the commitment. It means that your muscle tone is such that in order to make yourself feel a little more challenged you are pushing. That's a good thing.

Enjoy your day off. Come Monday we will begin the final week of the month long commitment. Finish strong, and stay focused. Well done.

Armed with some Mardi Gras necklaces, I did 40 leg lifts and 17 on each side of the back stretch and strengthening. Once again I didn't go up on the number because I feel bad. It's Advil time for sure!
