Roberts Proves He's Been Compromised.

I'm 100% on board with this as a law.

I also want a dark money ban.
I wholeheartedly agree with dark money. I also believe that corporate and wealty individuals should be cappe at how much they can donate. Bloomberg just donated $10 million to the Democrat party, to me that’s bullshit.

I support a public campaign fund that all candidates have equal access to.

It's long past the time when we need to see Trump's tax returns. The mere fact that he's fought so hard to conceal them, when people running for president know up front that they are supposed to be made public (not to mention that he promised to make them public), tells anyone with a brain that he's concealing corruption and criminality.
Why do you "need" to see them?

I believe that Trump's taxes are being sought only to harm him by revealing the full extent of his business and business dealings. By making that information public, those who seek to do him wrong will have a list of companies and individuals to harass/boycott/cancel.

Do not for a single second believe that the Left will not do exactly that. Or that the intent of gaining access to the tax information isn't for that sole purpose.

Formal corporate tax returns contain confidential material of a business’s strategic business model. If there’s statutory violations then the IRS is the appropriate enforcement arm of the government.
Supposedly Congress needs the tax returns in order to properly evaluate the IRS's audit program. I find that suspicious since they committee hasn't subpoenaed Biden's taxes, Obama's taxes, Bush's taxes, Clinton's taxes or anyone elses. Just Trump's.

Further, oversight of the IRS Presidential Audit program doesn't need the individual tax returns in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the audit controls, the process/procedures/etc. of a specific set of tax returns. It's supposed to be an audit and, therefore, should follow generally accepted accounting principles when it comes to audit and how to conduct them. There are no special procedures which are, or should be, required or necessary just because the taxes being audited are from a President.

A subpoena for publicly available information?

Well then! let’s hire 86,000 more agents. LMFAO. Most lit posters have no clue what *generally accepted accounting principles * means.

Most probably don't even know what a balance sheet is.

Chief Justice John Roberts delays handover of Trump's tax returns to House panel

https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/ip3/www.bostonglobe.com.icoThe Boston Globe|18 minutes ago
Chief Justice John Roberts on Tuesday put a temporary hold on the handover of former president Donald Trump's tax returns to a congressional committee.
Robert and his court lost in credibility in 2010 with the citizens United decision. Corporations are not people and money is not speech. Jesus, Daniel Webster proves it. In a short six years from the passage of that policy for sale legislation from the bench, our arch enemy, install the entire executive branch of the federal government

no one has ever said that about the audit system but you. It’s the house ways and means committee. They can investigate whomever for whatever they want and you don’t have to know why. that entire blowvation is nothing but bovine fecal matter.

Ways and means have to prove its for legislative purposes, they can’t just arbitrarily pull anyone’s taxes. I’m sure the Republican ways committee will return the favor and not only subpoena Biden’s tax records but will also through the judicial committee investigate Biden’s both Hunter and Joe’s pay to play scams with China and a few other countries. We will see.

You have to be ICan't-level stupid to still be carrying water for that corrupt, criminal, treasonous, con man fraud, Donald Trump.

they sure as hell can do whatever they want. Come at me with one more stupid, ignorant statement and I’m going to block you. I live in Missouri. I’ve had lifetimes worth of stupid in the past month. You can personalize if you wish……

I’m quite sure I mentioned it already, both Bidens have turned over 20 years worth of taxes.
turn off #NewsForDumbFox.

any of that senseless shit going to bring down inflation (which is really price gouging by multibillion dollar per quarter profit corporations)? help mitigate theeminent climate crisis? Bring about a sensible and fair immigration policy so I can quit hearing rascist fools drone on n about it? Bring about an ethics regulation mandate that Congress must live by? Yeah, of course It won’t……. Why fix anything when you can grandstand on it?

The board Trumpettes know as well as anyone else that someone who fights as hard as Trump has to withhold his tax records is covering up highly significant reasons why he won't show them. In his case, I'm sure he let the cat out of the bag on that a long time ago. Early in his campaign for president he stated that only fools pay taxes. What his tax returns will show--and we all, including the board Trumpettes, know they will reveal are two things--he's finagled the records so he underpays in taxes but even more important to a baby like Trump, they will reveal that he doesn't earn anything like he claims he does. He isn't a billionaire. He's a fraudulent con man, claiming stuff is his that is tied up as collateral for other stuff that's tied up for collateral, and all of it undervalued for tax purposes and grossly overvalue when used collateral for stuff he doesn't actually own. Michael Cohen has already been convicted and served his time for helping Trump in this tax fraud. It's time Donald Trump serves his time for it (and that case has just now been picked up again in New York, adding yet another case being pursued against this fucker).

Yawn.
I would think there are more pressing issues to take on right now. Letting criminals run free, inflation, the war in Ukraine, looming food shortages, looming fuel shortages. The list goes on.
Don’t forget Benghazi, Hunter Biden‘s laptop, and of course “her emails”

Extensive financial reports are required of candidates seeking the presidency. Far more extensive than what’s required on a tax return.

NOT a damn thing is required. It has been voluntarily given. I absolutely promised, nothing is required.

I have a serious question why the fuck you some people say something with absolute confidence and authority fucking cool if it’s right or not? I mean it would take 30 seconds to get on the Internet you’re already here…… what the fuck is wrong with us? I mean, did y’all eat that many paint chips as kid or what?

I’m sure you were beyond incensed when Putin ran 300 million US dollars through the NRA to various Republican candidates…… democrats selling policy is no more disgusting and the GOP selling policy

Wrong. See OGE Form 278e. Includes sources of personal income, assets, liabilities, positions held for the candidates and their spouses. Its best that you stick to farming Kind farmer. 🧑‍🌾
if they pay themselves to be a candidate, or to a war to be a candidate. You show me where it’s about your own personal finances with nothing to do with Candidates any campaign money…… that’s not how you cite a source

Or maybe they’re his and he’s not required to show them to anyone.

How about you post your tax returns here?
