Romeo and Juliet 2001

Well in the play Romeo and Juliet there was this charcter Juliet's cousin Tybalt that was so anti-Romeo that made him seem like a villian even though he did not really anything that horrible. Eventually Romeo kills him but I figure I could be him but alive so in other words I will be Sara's cousin

I will post tommorrow because I have two other threads to get to tonight

Can't wait to meet him! [grins]

Olaf...

Olaf listens to his hidden headset as the central security headquarters for his boss's firm confirms that all is clear. He relaxes slightly.

He was just about to look around for Sara when he saw his boss motioning him over impatiently. He nodded in understanding and made his way across the crowded room. For such a large man he was unusually agile and in moments his was standing before his boss.

"Yes Sir?" He asked, his deep voice calm, reserved.
"Listen... where has Sara gotten too? I wanted her to speak with Jacob Roland... his father owns British Petroleum and it would be a HUGE coup if we could organise a deal with him... the man is about Sara's age and she'd be able to charm him without a problem..."
Olaf frowned, he disliked it when his employer talked about Sara like this, but he kept it to himself.
"I left her in front of that painting she bought earlier Sir, should I go and fetch her?"
Oliver Jancker looked thoughtful.
"No... no... I'll probably just organise a special dinner later in the week, it's probably best if Sara has his entire attention anyway... is that... is that my nephew Kristoff over there?"
Olaf turns his head and scans the crowd easily picking out the young man, "I believe it is Sir..."
"Well... I'll be damned... I'll have to have a chat with him later... okay Olaf... go take care of my little girl there's a good man..."
Olaf had been dismissed.
Olaf turned to head back towards the alcove.

Meanwhile... Evelyn Delvecchio

She smiles at Sara... rolling her eyes as she realises Ethan is going for the way too slow approach.

"Hi, my name is Evelyn, and this is my brother Ethan... and your name would be?" Her smile is warm and confident.
Sara looks up in surprise at this information, turning to look at Ethan again.
"My name is Sara..." she smiles
"Well Sara..." Evelyn pauses again, some nagging thought making her pause before, "well Sara, Ethan... I guess three is a crowd..." she smiles ruefully... "I'll be out there trying to find something fun to do... catch you later bro..." she winks slyly before leaving the couple alone.

As she exits the alcove she spots a man.

Her eyes widen as she takes in the look of him... he looks, exciting. She smiles to herself.

I wonder if he is... she thinks to herself as she manouvers to get closer to him.

Sara

His strong gentle hand reaches up to my face, the backs of his fingers brushing my cheek. I become lost in his lovely brown eyes as he leans forward and...

'It's quiet lovely isn't it?' A voice too close to my side snaps me out of my fantasy with a start. I look at the man and blink in surprise, I wasn’t expecting to see him any time soon, and not this close.

I hear a slight cough in front of me and turn my head up to see the young woman he’d been talking to earlier. I looked back at him, and before I could say any thing, She smiled at me and said,

"Hi, my name is Evelyn, and this is my brother Ethan... and your name would be?" I looked back up at her in surprise, brother? I turn back to the man, Ethan.

"My name is Sara," I say, smiling dumbly, staring at him.

"Well Sara," The woman, Evelyn says, looking at the two of us, not really listening to her. "Well Sara,” she says again, and looks at her brother, “Ethan. I guess three is a crowd." she smiles, looking slightly annoyed, Ethan and I still staring at one another.

"I'll be out there trying to find something fun to do, catch you later bro." He glances briefly at her, not even turning his head to do so. She winks slyly at him then walks back into the main gallery.

Brother. I shake my head, the realization slowly sinking in, a big smile still plastered on my face. I open my mouth, then close it again with a small laugh, not knowing what to say. I lick my lips thoughtfully, then extend a hand.

“It’s very nice to officially meet you, Ethan,” I say.

Kristoff Von Helms in "The Introduction"

As I walked into the Art Gallery, I slid my fingers through my ponytailed blond hair and quickly scanned the room. There were several representive from the city most infamous "familys" and everyone was represented from the African American syndicate on the south side to the Russians from the North to my family's own German upstarts from the West and last and certainly least it was those fucking Italians that lay claim to the east. I quickly reached into my suitcoat made sure that I had my piece in my shoulder holster. Suddenly a large shadow loomed on me and I rolled my eyes it was my slow witted by loyal bodyguard/ sidekick Yohan standing behind me.

Sliding on my sunglasses I managed to dive into the crowd faster than my sluggish enforcer. Once I was submerged in the sea or people loosing the Juggernaut was almost too easy. I thought I saw my uncle Oliver and quickly dipped back into the masses. The last thing I wanted tonight was to get a lecture on the importance of my bodyguard and the importance of staying out of trouble.

Finally seperating myself from all that is Jancker I walked past the alcove in search for anything exciting in the sea of stuffed shirts. Just as I was about to give up hope I saw someone who looked like they could provide the neccessary adrenaline rush. She looked young about 5-4 with long black hair and gorgeous light brown eyes. She looked so innocent yet she was very much a beacon of light in room of corruption.

Evelyn Delvecchio

Evelyn takes in this man before her. Her light brown eyes trying to take in everything at once. The rakish pony tail leaving his face, rugged and exposed. She shivered a little. Was he looking at her? She couldn't tell, those dark sunglasses effectively sheilding his intentions. She felt a sudden instinctive desire to flee... but she stood frozen to the spot as he came closer. She blinked, half believing he would disappear when she did so. Still he was there larger than life and coming closer.

What to do? What to say?

Oh please don't let me sound like an idiot... please... please let me say something witty... she begged whatever God happened to be listening. She could feel her heart racing, the sound a deafening pounding in her ears. This was crazy... he was probably... I don't know... gay... weren't all the stunning guys gay?

He was standing before her, confident smile. She saw herself reflected in the lenses of his shades. The image seemed so small.

She tried to say something but nothing came out. She managed a shy smile, unable to resist this close up opportunity. She studied his face and was definitely attracted.

"Hi... " she managed with a throaty whisper. Inwardly she groaned, she was starting to sound like Ethan around that girl Sara.

This man was trouble with a capital T... she bit her lip nervously hoping against hope that he was her kind of trouble.

Kristoff in "Innocence Darkened"

As I stalked closer to the innocent one, I began to get all sorts of ideas for her. After all what is the good a beautiful innocent girl if you can't corrupt her and force her into obeying your will. As I stood before her flashing my seductive confident smile I tried to read what she was thinking taking in her innocent beauty.

She was so pure compared to this room full of mafiosos and family members. I wondered what someone like her was doing here. Her pureness attracted me to her like a vampire to a blood bank. When she said "Hi" in her shy little whisper I knew I had her attention. I took her hand and kiss the back of it and said "Hello mon joule`. My name is Kristoff. What is yours?"

OCC: I will not let Shakespeare die like this

Ethan

OOC: Yeah, I know. One post per week IS pretty slack... :p
(By the way, I have NO idea where I'm taking this...)

Evelyn muttered something to slyly of which I heard only the words "Catch you later bro."

I waved my hand in a slapdash fashion at Evelyn, my eyes fixed firmly upon Sara's. I caught a glimpse of Evelyn's sly wink and smiled silently within - Catch you later bro she said. I wondered who was gonna get into more mischief for the night, Evelyn or myself.

I stood there for a further moment, studying the features of Sara's face once more. I felt a certain familiarity about her, something that I could not quite put into words. Sara had not fully engaged my eye, and in return I avoided her, as though waiting to be addressed, but in my peripheral view fell th esweep of her chensut hair, caught and held up off her face. Her lips snaked acrossed her lips and without warning she extended her hand.

“It’s very nice to officially meet you, Ethan,” she said.

I took her hand and bowed my head briefly.

"No, pleasure is all mine Sara." I said in reply.

We stood face to face, eye to eye once more, comfortable with the silence that we have arrived to.

"You know what? I wanna show you something." I said, grabbing her hand without warning, guiding her away from the painting we had been studying.

GOD Ethan! That didn't come out too good... I shoke my head subtley and lead Sara down the corridor. My mind ticked into overdrive as I realised I had nothing to show her... the urge to feel her skin upon my fingertips had been too much - and well, "I wanna show you something" was just as good an excuse as any other.

"Hello mon joule`. My name is Kristoff. What is yours?"

Evelyn's heart skipped a beat.

"... E... Evelyn..." she managed... her smile faint... her focus on him entirely. She felt a tingle linger on her hand where his lips had touched her. Such a charming gesture in a world where charm had all but been forgotten. It was also an intimate gesture... and Evelyn had a weakness for intimacy of any sort.

She succumed now to his confidence and charm.

"I... " she wanted to talk to him... desperately wanted to impress him... to keep him with her... but she was at a complete loss.

"I... haven't... haven't seen you at one of these before..." she finally managed. Grateful that she was managing sentances now.

Sara

"No, pleasure is all mine Sara," he replied. We stood looking at each other, and I found myself getting lost in his eyes once more.

"You know what?” He suddenly said, “I wanna show you something." He grabbed my hand, gently pulling me toward him.

I smiled and let myself be lead away, thinking first, “yeah, I bet you’ve got something to show me baby!” He escorted me down the museum corridor and pulled me into a door marked ‘employees only’, it was then, realizing that I could barely hear the party goers, that reality kicked in and I wondered what I was doing. What was I thinking? I may be a little rebellious at times and ditch body guards, but to run off with a strange man that wants to “show me something”? I must be losing my mind.

He finally stopped amid the crates and old paintings and turned me to face him. I had a moment to have one last paranoid thought. He was going to pull out a knife or a gun and waste me right here. But then our eyes met again, and I knew some how that everything was going to be all right.

I smiled at him, reaching up to run my fingers through his hair, I shook my head in wonder, not knowing why I was so drawn to this man. Before I had a chance to think any more crazy thoughts, he pulled me closer to him, one hand on the small of my back, and the other at my waist. Leaning down slightly, he caught my lips with his own and in that moment, my heart stopped. I couldn’t describe everything I felt in that moment, I only knew that I didn’t want it to end.

A sudden crash brought us both out of it though, my foot had, without my knowledge, gone up movie-kiss style and knocked over a near by painting. We laughed at our jumpiness, but I was suddenly reminded that there would be a large, well armed man looking for me soon, and I didn’t want any more company than I all ready had.

I reached up and kissed his neck, “let’s get out of here,” I whispered against his ear.

Kristoff in "Trying not to hold up Shakespear and Eye Contact"

Watching her get flustered it made me want to laugh out loud but I knew that I would lose a bit of her interests if I laughed in her face instead I reluctantly released her hand from my grasp, flashed my most charismatic smile and "These gathers were never about the artwork or the artists themselves. More often than not these gathers are basically for the rich and powerful to show off their wealth, power and prestige. I rarely visit one of these functions however my cousin insisted that I at least make an appearance."

Taking off my sunglasses, I looked down at her doing my best to make eye contact with this flustered yet beautiful innocent. The point of making eye contact was I wanted make sure her eyes were locked on mine completely, that way she can tell that she has my complete attention. Then I asked here " So dear Evelyn, what brings you to this gathering of rich and powerful?"

Evelyn Delvecchio

Evelyn finds herself lost in those beautiful eyes. She is enraptured. She feels like she could look into those eyes forever.

Vaguely she registers his question.

With a soft sigh she replies, "I came with my father... and... brother..." She found she wanted desperately to hear him speak again.

"I'm... I'm so glad you came... I must thank your cousin..." she smiles up at him.

Sara

I take Ethan's hand, pausing a moment to get my barrings, I realize we can sneak out the back door from here. I lead him through the dimly lit corridors to one of the loading dock doors that's propped open with a brick. I smile to myself as the fresh night air hits my face, for once all the time I spent at the museum paid off.

"Whoa," Ethan said, "how did you know we could get out this way?" I smiled back at him, leading him down the alley.

"I spend a lot of time there, and I've gotten to know the people that work there. They like to leave that door open so they can sneak out for a smoke without being obvious about it." I giggled, feeling like a teenager sneaking out of the house, even though I did things like this regularly, this was the first time since high school I'd left to be with a boy. No, I corrected myself, a man, he's definately a man.

I reached a side street and stopped, not sure where I was going.
"All right," I said, "I got us this far, any suggestions on where to go now?"

Ethan

"All right," she said, "I got us this far, any suggestions on where to go now?"

I stood there dumbfounded, searching for words to say. Here I was, with this girl, this girl who had completely swept me off my feet, who tore me away from my bodyguard, away from my sister, this girl who lead me out to a quiet side street like a carrot to a donkey. What the am I thinking?!?! I thought to myself and
contemplated the options.

"How about... ... let's go to..." I said, twitching my lips from side to side... "Heaven?"

Sara stared at me with blank expression on her face.

"The nightclub." I explain, bursting out into a chuckle.

"It's just around the corner. We'll be able to blend into the crowd if Mr. Big and Mr. Bigger comes looking for us." I continued, referring to our bodyguards.

Heaven was not your typical nightclub. Having only opened two years ago, it soon established itself as one city's premier night spot. It harboured it's only colourful array of patrons - ranging from the shakers to the dealers, from the innocents to the corrupted. Entry to the club is quite exclusive, limited to those with the power or money, or the required cleavage to impress the bouncers.

Two burly bouncers stood outside the club, towering over the masses of people hoping to get in. One after another the crowd got turned away. As Sara and I approached the door, the two bouncers stepped aside, allowing as through without question. Sara smiled and looked curiously at me.

"I'm ... eh. A regular customer?" I kidded and shrugged, leading her down the steps towards the party below.

"Would you like a drink? Or shall we dance?" I asked, a confident smile upon my face, my fingers still laced through hers.

OOC: Anyone mind if I join in, perhaps as one of Ethan's friends, who's in Heaven? I'm thinking perhaps a Mercutio style character (In image at least) most likely from the modern movie.

I for one don't mind at all!

That sounds like a great character... I always did like the modern movie version of him. :D

Olaf - Sara's Bodyguard

Olaf scanned the crowd. The hairs on the back of his neck were telling him something was amiss. He hadn't laid eyes on his charge for some time. He'd last seen her head towards the painting she'd recently purchased. He had wanted to give her a little room to herself, it was a funny idea, but she got more time to herself at 'do's' like this than she did at home.

His eyes narrowed as he saw some people filter through the alcove.

With quick easy strides he entered the alcove himself and his eyes instantly noted the empty bench seat before the painting. She wasn't sitting there admiring it like he had originally expected.

He radioed central and asked for her whereabouts.

"Sorry O... haven't been tracking her... we thought with you on her case..." the voice trailed off with a hint of mirth.

Olaf frowned. He didn't like that tone.

"Any other exits here aside from the obvious?"

He asked instead of saying what he was thinking, which would have made the voice on the other end blanch with fear.

"The usual, staff entrance, kitchen... there is a guest entrance for when royalty arrives... South side..." a definite smirk in the voice now.

The great Olaf losing his charge this would get a laugh for him at the pub later tonight.

"Fine... if you do happen to spot her... please inform one of my guys..." it really pained him to have to ask this... he was internally mortified. She'd done this to him when she was younger, but she'd never really gone anywhere, and he was good... very good. He couldn't believe he'd let his guard slip this much.

He looked up and noticed an equally flustered looking guy. Someone he knew as a matter of fact. He switched of his radio control and approached him.

"Bruno." Gruff form of hello.
"Olaf." Same in return.
"Who are you doin' tonight?"
"My regular..."
"Mine too... misplaced as it happens..."
"Really?"
Silence.
"Mine too..."
Olaf nods without comment. The two men size each other up.
"I heard word of a South side entrance that's probably not manned." Olaf offers.
Silence. Bruno frowns.
"Out of bounds then..." he seems disconcerted.
"Out of bounds."
"Want to join forces for a bit?" Olaf offers.
"Sure... lead the way."

Olaf moves through the crowd towards the doorway that the waiters were coming from.

Bruno follows not far behind. Inside, the kitchen is the usual disarray of controlled chaos. The two bulky men move easily through the turmoil and head straight for the back entrance.

It leads to a hallway and then to another exit.

Outside.

"Any ideas?" Olaf asks.
"If they're together..." Olaf raises an eyebrow at this, "he may have headed towards that new club..."

The two men consider this for a moment.

"Right..." they walk together towards Heaven.

Jonas sat in his usual booth in Heaven his arms around two of his favourite ladies when he saw Ethan come in. "Hey, it's Ethan. What do you say girls, should we go kick his ass?"

the two girls giggled and nodded.

Sara

I watched his handsome face as he thought about my question, and became entangled again in my own fantasies. His lips they were so soft on mine when we kissed, just like...
"Heaven?" Ethan said. I blinked in surprise, great, he’d been talking to me and here I was spacing out.

"The nightclub," he says, chuckling at my lost expression. "It's just around the corner. We'll be able to blend into the crowd if Mr. Big and Mr. Bigger comes looking for us."

The referance made me come to my senses. Olaf, I thought, he's going to kill me for this one. I couldn't believe I'd done this to him, my faithful watcher that had done more for me than my own father ever had. It was one thing to ditch some random body guard, but Olaf? Olaf who had played tea party with me when I was eight, who’d let me cry on his shoulder who knows how many times, and I’d run off on him.

Ethan was leading us towards the night club as all these thoughts went through my head. I leaned towards him to avoid a rambunctious group passing by us and caught a whiff of his cologne. I breathed the scent deeply, becoming lost in it, and him, once more.

Large bouncers held a watchful eye over the door, I had a second to wonder if we’d be able to get in when the two of them parted, allowing Ethan and I access without a single word. I smiled, looking curiously at handsome companion, wondering how he’d pulled that one off.

"I'm ... eh. A regular customer?" He shrugged as he lead me towards the dance floor. "Would you like a drink?” He asked, “or shall we dance?" He smiled at me, so sexy, he ran a finger over mine, and I realized we were holding hands. I looked down, wondering how long that had been going on, my hand fit so well in his I hadn’t even noticed. I leaned closer to him so I could be heard over the music, again catching his cologne, what was it? I shook my head a little, clearing my thoughts.

“I think I’d like a drink, something besides champagne and wine!” He laughed and nodded. He motioned to a near by waitress, ordering a drink for him self, then looking to me with a raised eye brow. I order a long island iced tea, and wonder to myself how long it had been since I’ve had anything alcoholic that wasn’t champagne of wine.

“Should we grab a table?” He asks, bringing me once again out of my thoughts. I smile at him and nod, scolding myself for being so spacy, I should be paying attention to him and enjoying this while I can. I’m sure daddy dearest will have me under lock and key for a while after this stunt.

Ethan begins leading us towards a booth when a tall black with a rather serious expression on his face approaches us. I involuntarily suck my breath in, looks like that weren't a good thing, I'd seen too many of them. Before I have time to seriously panic, a large grin spreads across his face.

"Oh watch out. Here's trouble." I muttered to Sara out of the corner of my lips.

Jonas was scary at the best of times, let alone with the pitbull look he had on his face, as though he would bite the head off anyone within a five metre radius of him. I felt Sara shrink away beside me, obviously slightly intimidated. I decided to play along with Jonas for a bit and stood up tall, an equally serious look upon my face.

"What do YOU want?" I said coldly to Jonas face to face.

Jonas rasied an eyebrow, and soon his serious expression melted away into a large grin. He threw his arms around me and we engaged in a friendly hug. In the background, Sara breathed a sigh of relief.

"Ethan..." said Jonas, as he pulled himself away from me, looking over my shoulder and gesturing inquiringly with his eyes at Sara.

"Oh." I replied, "How rude of me. Jonas, Sara. Sara, Jonas."

Jonas hugged Etahn and then looked at the girl with him "Ethan..."

"Oh." He replied, "How rude of me. Jonas, Sara. Sara, Jonas."

"Nice to meet you Sara. What ever possessed you to take up with my man, Ethan? You look like you have too much taste for that." Jonas chuckled and then remembered his place "Oh, before I forget, this is Melanie, and Katrine." He pointed at the two girls with him.

As they all sat down, Jonas suddenly eyed Ethan up and down "Hey, aren't you supposed to be at an art gallery with your father?"

Kristoff in Beauty

Staring into her pretty eyes I answered "After meeting you so must I my dear. Come now my dear tell me a lil more about yourself like what here has piqued your interest?"

I tried to enunciate on the question of what piqued her interest hoping for the desired responce I was looking for. Her beauty was not the beauty of some of these painted faced whore models that many of the men here preferred. No no this one's beauty is her purity and innocence. She was truly a diamond among a room of cubic zirconians.

Evelyn Delvecchio

"Oh... I swear..." she laughs guilessly... "I thought this was just going to be another boring suit parade until I saw..." she blushed realising suddenly how childish she sounded.

She smiled, trying for a cool look, hoping he wasn't repelled by her naivete.

"Ummm... what I meant to say was... umm... well..." she frowned not sure what to say really, "I guess, I'm just now finding this party more interesting..." she finally manages with a smile up at him.

"I've only been allowed to come to the formal parties this last year you know... before that my father considered me too young..." she looks down at her drink which has gone warm in her hand... "I... I'd like to hear more about you actually... you don't seem... you don't seem like the others who come here..." she looks up at him again clearly wanting to hear everything about him.

Olaf & Bruno

As the dark forboding figures of Olaf and Bruno they easily spot Heaven. An underground club but the desire for entry is so great a very obvious que has formed outside.

In a classy statement that clearly says... "only the cool allowed" a read velvet rope guards the entrance from the undesirable.

Olaf and Bruno approach the two heavy set men guarding the doorway.

Guy number one turns to look the two men over and grunts.

"Sorry... private party inside..."

Olaf raises a single eye brow.

"Indeed..." he replies coolly.

Guy number one had already looked away clearly expect this rebuttal to be enough to get rid of the two men.

"Yes... private party... shove off..."

Bruno raises an eyebrow now and glances at Olaf.
Olaf grins good naturedly and raises a hand as if to say... 'wait... give me a second'
Bruno shrugs shaking his head at guy number one as if to say 'you're an idiot' but remains quiet letting Olaf continue.

"Am I to understand that you can just look at myself and my friend here and you just 'KNOW' that we're not on that private party list?"
"Listen buddy... I said shove off... so ya gonna shove off or do me and Darren here have to shove you off physically like?"

There is a click as Olaf steps forward carefully.

Guy number one is silent... but his face speaks volumes. Volumes of sheer terror. A single bead of sweat trickles from his forhead.

"Okay... let me explain this to you as easily as I can... we're DEFINITELY on that list... got it?"

"Yup... yup... got it... go on then..." He unclicks the red rope and ushers Bruno and Olaf in. Guy number two looks startled but doesn't say anything.

"It's amazing what a man will do to save his nuts these days.." mutters Olaf.
Bruno chuckles... "yup... simply amazing..."
"You check East... I'll go West?"
"Yup... sounds good."

The two men split up... scanning the crowded interior as they search for their charges.

Sara

"Nice to meet you Sara. What ever possessed you to take up with my man, Ethan? You look like you have too much taste for that," Ethan’s friend Jonas chuckled and then seemed to remember his companions, introducing us to the two of them.

We took a booth, the guys sitting on the ends of the u-shaped bench. Jonas suddenly eyed Ethan up and down "Hey, aren't you supposed to be at an art gallery with your father?" Ethan chuckled, and was about to answer him when I caught sight of Olaf making his way through the crowd.

I slipped off the bench and on to the floor, diving for cover. Ethan leaned over, along with Jonas to find out what had happened. “My body guard!” I hissed, pointing in the direction I’d seen Olaf. I turned to Jonas, “He can’t find me here, my father will kill me!”

Jonas nodded grimly "I know a back way out...Hey, Ethan, isn't that Bruno over there?" He pointed the large man out. "I think I should get both of you out here, he doesn't look happy, and that means your father probably isn't happy. Come." His voice took on a no-nonsense tone, and he grabbed the two by the hands, pulling them along
