One might expect that in southeastern states with a high proportion of blacks, there would be more anti-black bias among whites. Or in southwestern states with a high proportion of hispanics, there would be more anti-hispanic bias among whites.

Where it gets odd is in places like Idaho and Montana, where other-than-white proportions are lower, and white supremacist groups are flourishing. It's as if they are denied the chance to bitch about their neighbors, so they have to reach out to the rest of the world for people to bitch about.

Well now, we have an interesting point. Sometimes, when we live in areas where black people break into our houses, steal our cars, are on the news every night caught up in violent crime, and so on....

We even had our own rapper! Camoflauge was his name. He was just getting more popular when he was shot int the head while a baby was in his arms, leaving a quarter-sized bullet hole in his skull. You want to hear his music? His music videos are filmed on a street I drive down regularly. He even has a song featuring Birdman.

And I loved this dude's music back when I was in middle school. I used to go to the local skating rink where I was one of the only white people there. Guess what, I got caught up in a riot where people were stealing Jordans and fighting.

I know a bit about black people. Because I used to be a little punk wigger. And my parents did not discourage my black friends. We're not racist but we know to stick to the South side of Savannah so we are less likely to get shot.

And besides, you actually think Roof would be placed in the general population. Any inmate that has a high probability of being continuously harmed will be placed in solitary confinement.

Also, wouldn't the Aryan Brotherhood take him in and protect him? I am not quite sure how they work, but it would seem like they would have an interest in keeping him in their gang as a symbol of accomplishment.

Regardless, he would be placed in solitary either way.

3 hours of deliberation. All it would have took was one person to decide on life in jail.

Fully deserving of the penalty. Zero remorse and no mitigating circumstances.
