How do you feel about my second favorite mode of restraint, which is: "Don't move....."?

Eh, I have a love/hate relationship with that one. One a mental level it's so freaken hot, on a 'hard to do' level it's really freaken HARD. Don't move - smack! I said don't move!

Nothin' better than the expression on the face of a naughty female, once she's been quickly and professionally handcuffed. Book 'em, Danno!

That's hot.

I love the intensity of his expressions, and that little tip of tongue poking out the corner of his mouth that just tells you that's a man concentrating on the task at hand!

Heh

Yeah! Seb gets a very intense expression, too. It's really attractive.

OH HAI.

I had this once with one partner. I got 'Don't move', and then a GLARE when I tried shifting my hands from where he'd put them (because y'know I had to check). Ohboy. Yep, Sin's fond of assertiveness as a bondage device.

I've never been bound. :( Not my fault, he's just never done it.

Rope....for its versatility in texture as well as in what can be done with it. Controlling the tightness...the patterns....and being able to use it on virtually any part of the body.

So far I've only had rope and wrist cuffs. Before tonight I would have picked the wrist cuffs. Then I got a taste of more bound than just my wrist and it was behind my back instead of over my head for partial suspension.

Mmmm, rope is good. Very, very good.
:D

I absolutely love rope. For lack of a better description, it centers me. The time it takes calms me.

I like the first cool feel of leather against my skin.

As far as metal goes, I like the coolness of it but I also like to pull against my restraints a little. I've only been able to experience handcuffs and they don't work well for longer periods of time for me. I like being restrained for a long time.

The one thing about rope is that I can wear a rope corset or torso tie for a good long while. That's the thing I love about rope. It provides that sense of security.

*fans self*

I have been told to be still and quiet a couple of times. As hard as it is not to move, being quiet is even more difficult. He thinks it is funny. I love him with all my heart, but.... sometimes...oy vey! LOL

I like tape a lot, but not bondage tape. If I'm gonna get taped up, I want it to be electrical tape - or duct tape. The stickiness doesn't bother me, and it feels far more secure and restrictive to me than bondage tape does.

I'm surprised there's so little love for metal, relatively speaking. Along with duct tape, it's the only option I have available - I have a pair of handcuffs that I would lying if I said I remembered where they came from - but like I say to people when they ask about it, the reason I love metal restraints is because they're so unfriendly, and all the things people say about why they're unsafe options just make me love them more. At the heart of it...rope and leather you can fight against to your heart's content, but do the same with metal and it just ends up hurting.

Obviously you haven't had much experience with rope if you don't think it can hurt :p

Bondage tape is easy to break out of, but I prefer it if my face is getting wrapped.

Well, no. Consider which side of the rope I'm normally on. I say that about metal because I have been in handcuffs before (fancy dress party, I was one part of a surprisingly kinky whole) and those things hurt.

I've only ever used a belt and a tie, but when it comes down to it I really just like holding her down myself. The finger and hand shaped bruises that result are a treat.

Well, maybe it's time to start expanding your experience :)

Chrome tanned Latigo leather that wraps about twice around both ankles and wrists before it buckles. Because only trailer trash women can show up for work on Monday with marks or bruises on their wrists.

Just kidding. Whatever floats your boat. It's what I like anyway. I want them to not feel it until and unless they decide to test the ropes.

Metal intrigues me as well but not handcuffs but something more medieval.

If you want it done right, use rope. so I voted for that.

Leather cuffs however, they are pretty neat. You can easily attach them just about anywhere, I must admit they look pretty on girl.

Handcuffs, they are fast, nuff said.

Ohhh I forgot the joy of vetwrap and ace bandages.

Is that the same as vetwrap? We have found it roll up and fall off unless he layers it in several widths across whatever he is binding.

I prefer leather cuffs or something else that's quick and easy.

I've always assumed that the purpose of tying a woman was primarily as foreplay, and for keeping her under control (and frustrating her attempts to move) during actual sex. And the practicalities of actual sex are you're unlikely to want her in the same posture for the whole of the session. Untying and retying ropes breaks the rythm of sex. It introduces longeurs during which tension is lost. With leather, clip! clip! clip! clip! and she's reconfigured to be fucked in some different way.

This isn't to say that rope doesn't have its place. It does. And there's a definite aesthetic to rope bondage. But for practical sex, leather is better.

Exactly.

I enjoy my subs struggling. I don't want them actually hurt, in any way which won't heal quickly.
