One year for one of the cats birthday I thought I'd splurge and buy a beta fish. Found out you have to keep them separate because they kill one another. I think another name us fighting samurai fish. By time I got done it was $35 for a fish and accessories. Sorry cat..no fish for you. . They are beautiful though.

I think some breeds are less aggressive and you can keep one in the same tank with other mild tempered fishes.

They were so beautiful but I did not buy them. Probably better off...I'm sure one of them would have been in the fish tank after them.

Hi Rossie...I have a really good friend who does this each summer. She collects different colored and sized bottles, groups them together somewhere where light shines through the glass and puts a flower in each one.

Simple but pretty! And she can replace the flowers with colored LED lights in winter.
