For Lorelei_11
(Darrell Brown/Radney Foster)

It ticks just like a Timex
It never lets up on you
Who said life was easy
The job is never through
It'll run us 'til we're ragged
It'll harden our hearts
And love could use a day of rest
Before we both start falling apart

I Pray that it's raining on Sunday
Stormin' like crazy
We'll hide under the covers all afternoon
Baby whatever comes Monday
Can take care of itself
'Cause we've got better things that we can do
When it's raining on Sunday

Your love is like religion
A cross in Mexico
And your kiss is like the innocence
Of a prayer nailed to a door
Oh surrender is much sweeter
When we both let it go
Let the water wash our bodies clean
And love wash our souls

And pray that it's raining on Sunday
Stormin' like crazy
And we'll hide under the covers all afternoon
And baby whatever comes Monday
Can take care of itself
'Cause we've got better things that we can do
When it's raining on Sunday
Ooh, oh oh

I Pray that it's raining on Sunday
Stormin' like crazy
We'll hide under the covers all afternoon
And baby whatever comes Monday
Can take care of itself
'Cause we've got better things that we can do
When it's raining on Sunday
Ooh, oh oh
When it's raining on Sunday
When it's raining on Sunday
Let it rain
Whoo, ooh

Thanks Rick, :)

I was busy posting on three threads I made on the G.B. I was going to find the lyrics thread and copy it. Your fast. I was thinking you had a lot of ladies to talk with here, so I'd get it here eventually.

My favorite country song is "Making memories of us" by Keith Urban. Do you have any favorites?

Never too busy for you
Here ya go

Artist/Band: Urban Keith
Lyrics for Song: Making Memories Of Us
Lyrics for Album: Be Here
I'm gonna be here for you baby
And I'll be a man of my own word
Speak the language in a voice that you have never heard
I wanna sleep with you forever
And I wanna die in your arms
In a cabin by a meadow where the wild bees swarm

(Chorus:)
And I'm gonna love you like nobody loves you
And I'll earn your trust making memories of us

I wanna honor your mother
And I wanna learn from your paw
I wanna steal your attention like a bad outlaw
And I wanna stand out in a crowd for you
A man among men
I wanna make your world better than it's ever been

Chorus

We'll follow the rainbow
Wherever the four winds blow
And there'll be a new day
Comin' your way
I'm gonna be here for you from now on
This you know somehow
You've been stretched to the limits but it's alright now

And I'm gonna make you this promise
If there's life after this
I'm gonna be there to meet you with a warm, wet kiss
Yes I am

And I'm gonna love you like nobody loves you
And I'll earn your trust makin' memories of us
Ohhh
And I'm gonna love you like nobody loves you baby
And I'll win your trust makin memories of us
Mmmmm
Ohhhhhhhh Oh Baby Mmmmmmm

Oh.... thankyou for posting these lyrics. :)

I love this song. Its like he wrote it for me. While reading the lyrics, I can hear him singing it, so beautiful. Although, he's not my type, to pretty for me. My type is Toby keith. Which makes me think of his song, "I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was." The video for the song is absolutely hilarious. Have you seen it? Do you like is songs?

Love lemonade love ice tea but you best NOT put lemon in my tea lol
I have lived in 9 states
TN and GA are the most beautiful TN above GA OH has the WORST water
You take a glass of water from tap leave it over night
you can see tons of lime floating on top lol

I've just lived in Indiana and Tennessee. Moved from Indiana to Tennessee and then back here again. I've visited several and find North Carolina to be exquisite as well as the Florida Keys, though the local buildings are questionable.

I am hoping to visit the West this year.

I've heard Washington State is nice too. I am heading to Texas in June. I've been there once, it was a drive in, drive out trip. So I didn't get to see anything, but a mall for 2 hours, while waiting to drop off my sister at an army base.

From what little I know of you, this thread is an excellent example of your persona~

I'll be staying longer later  Now its off to the encylopedia for me!
