So since USGS found the oil, should they pay the fine?
That's a stupid statement, even by the lower standard applied to you.![]()
What anti-production policies?I defer to your vast experience with stupid, irrelevant statements.
Still nothing to add about why he should get the credit now for doing nothing, when you held him blameless for anti-production policies?
Nothing?
You've had a while to come up with something. Even Salon can't spin that?

Oh look boys and girls! Query wants me to play defense!
Of course, in order to do so, I'd have to agree with Query's specious premise that President Obama has enacted so-called "anti-production policies". Since he won't (or, more likely, can't) explain these so-called "anti-production policies", anything I say would be simply playing into his silly rope-a-dope herp-a-derp.
No, little query, I'm not playing your deflection games today. Now tell us again how President Obama gets zero credit for lowerin' gas prices and all the blame when gas prices rise.
When he does things that specifically cause oil speculators to make reasonable assumptions about the future price of oil it raises prices. When innovators work around the hurdles he puts up, the price goes down.
He took actions that raised the price. He took no actions that had the effect of lowering it.
Not hard to explain, but your version of reality which would be the converse of that sure is.
What action did he take that lowered the price?
Explain how denying permits did not have the effect of raising prices when logic says it should, and the correlation occurred?
Point to any of the esteemed Representative Doc Hastings' claims that actually reduced oil production. He goes off on wild tangents, like leases being issued that include "job destroying" royalty rates. Are you unaware that the administrations "all of the above" energy policy was evidently tongue in cheek and involved crossing of fingers behind the back?
Point to any of the oil-related policies on this list of energy roadblocks that would have the effect of increasing production:

I thought you ignorant of actual science greenies were under the impression that Obama was hindering fossil fuels and that that was somehow a noble effort? Now you are unaware that our hero is doing so?
Tell us about how Ethanol is such a green process, has as an example of greenie pushed energy nonsense. Or how nuclear fuel is such a huge, insurmountable problem with spent fuel that would fit in a small warehouse.

If a policy or action from Obama led to increased oil production, it's a safe bet that it wouldn't be on Doc's little list.I'll mark you down for: "No, none of Obama's policies have had the effect of encouraging an increase oil production."
Tell me, since polar bears are drowning in that extra 1/2 inch of sea water are you in favor of more fossil fuels being extracted from the ground, or less?
Care to guess what the administration would prefer?

He's been doin' that quite often of late.
It's good to see him branching out from his usual ascription schtick.
Yes, extract more fossil fuels, please. It's a safe bet that you cannnot list a policy or action of the administration that was designed to increase oil production because that is not the aim of this administration.
You didn't answer. Do you want more fossil fuels extracted from the ground or not?
You have had a full day to come up with one. You still got nothing?

Oh look, query's upset because I won't play defense.
He trots out his flawed premises, then wonders why I won't play ball. And ends up pouting.
Yes, extract more fossil fuels, please.
But be sure to observe all the regulations when you do so, because a lot of guys like you make a huge mess that we all have to wade through.

Shut up with that shit, you don't have a clue what really goes on in his real life, nor is it any of our business.
As Obama lunges for legacy, Luke shovels for shit.
