*'Sanctuary' for Us *

Lucy's eyes widened as she looked at Lyda, ''Oh wow, you can split it? Does that mean you've got, like, two spirits? Wicked cool!''

Nikola didn't understand what Lucy was talking about and looked confused, ''What?'' he simply asked.

Lucy took his hand, the previous moment's antics forgotten and she pointed at Lyda, ''She's part talking to us and part still in the spirit realm. Very special trick. That must be hard to do, Lyda. Are you feeling alright?'' she asked.

Lyda cringed a little till she heard Tesla's question. Good he did not realize what Lucy was saying. She shot Lucy a glance as she nodded.

I'm fine... as for the splitting you so felt the need to point out its just like what I did to save father nd Patricia in battle. The "Destroyer" as its called is but isn't a part of my soul. From the way it was explained to me by a fellow Proto Hep. There were two bloodlines who were bound by spirit to protect and house the lost spirits of the ancient warriors who protected the lands and peoples against demons and other sub darkness. I don't however know if mothers complete merge/union with her Destroyer side is normal or if my ability to split from mine is but everyone seems to view it as suicidal just as I am sure grandfather is probably telling you it is suicidal as well.

She then smiled trying to reassure all of them that she was fine. Reaching a hand to muss Lucy's hair a little to reassure her with a smile and her other hand to Nikola resting on his arm hoping he would accept that she was fine as well.

''Wow!'' was Lucy's only reply, laughing when Lyda mussed her already somewhat messy blonde locks. Helen had brushed and plaited her hair earlier but lots of strands had broken loose while she had been running around playing baseball outside and now only about half of her hair's volume remained in the plait running down her back. She simply ran the back of her hands across her face to push the hair out and ignored the rest. Appearance was not usually one of Lucy's main concerns in daily life, not when there was fun to be had and discoveries to be made.

Nikola brushed the back of his own hand across Lyda's face but this touch was an intimate and loving caress, not child's play. He closed the space between them by bending to kiss her gently, careful to watch for any signs she was feeling weak or unwell. ''I'm very glad you're beginning to feel better, Lyda. The trouble from earlier...I apologize. I hadn't really been thinking with the correct body part, I suppose.''

This comment went over Lucy's head and she busied herself by kneeling down and playing peek a boo with the baby who was lying in her carrier beside the bed.

Nikola took this brief moment of some privacy to whisper into Lyda's ear, ''Perhaps another time very soon we can try to finish what we started...When I'm not on babysitting detail.'' he added the afterthought with a chuckle at the children at his ankle. "So, tell me more about this experience you've had. " he asked, curious.

**********************************************************************
Helen regarded Amy Pond as they watched Doctor Who in his preparations to leave. ''Er, um...so...how long have you been his, uh...colleague?'' she asked.

Somehow being called a colleague of The Doctor was enough for a fit of laughter from Amy.

Magnus was not seeing the joke.

Will was just behind her and put a hand on her shoulder.

Magnus thought of a few questions, ''Could you explain more about this rift in space time? How can it be fixed? How does that work?" she truly wanted to know as this sounded vitally important and disasterous if they failed to fix it.

Will added, ''And, what does it have to do with a crack in your wall?''

Lyda smiled to him and softly kissed him as well.

Whatever our reptilian Dr has been giving me to aid in the remerging seems to keep me sleepy. For some reason the remerging stopped on its own.... its like its communicating with someone or something... its focused but not on prey... I don't know. Everyone has told me that true complete seperation of the Destroyer and physical is fatal for both. I have to admit all I feel is a little weak but... we are at least half merged... getting out of here and away from all the medical seemed to help. But you are right maybe we should wait till the reptilian Dr says I am 100% better.

She leaned up to kiss him again her hand on his cheek.

Isis growled remembering...

That device of Worth the one DeBlythe used to remove Melevan.

He spoke of time and dimension about it.

Then she paused...

Father.... he had a number sequence he kept telling me long ago... Worth had always designed the machine to take him back to Imogean... the numbers father always repeated to me... the day before Imogean died.... Could this problem be caused from some sort of over taxing on the machine taking two people back in time and one in flux like Melevan was.... and the random portal he opened...

Isis was more combat but she was pretty good at second guessing fathers sneaky nature about offering obvious information in the least obvious ways.

Helen looked to Isis, ''Can you remember the numbers Father told you? Likely, as he always loved to hide his secrets in riddles in plain sight he told you those numbers for a reason. We'll have to get Henry to help with the machine because it's been half destroyed during all this upheaval.''

Helen saw Henry standing behind them, ''Alright, people, I think we have some work ahead of us.''

Will chimed in, ''Saving the universe...sure, no pressure.''

She smirked at his dry humor but pressed on. ''Let's repair Adam's machine and see if we can make adjustments so it fits with whatever system Ms. Pond and The Doctor are used to using. From that point, Isis, I think those numbers will be coming in handy.''

Isis began pacing trying to remember every word of the little riddle poem father taught her as a child. The numbers simply the date the day before Imogeans death. How could father know that... this strange man and his friend perhaps? There were 9 numbers total... the day month and year before Imogean died and then 6 then 10. The last two numbers seemed to just be numbers the date the only thing that seemed to stand out. She wrote them down studying them intently trying to figure out father's riddle. She looked to the one they called Amy Pond.

Here are the numbers the first numbers are the day before the machines creators daughter died then this 6 and 10 those I don't know what they could mean?

She sniffed at the air again always wary of strange people being near the family especially after DeBlythe.

_______________

Henry nodded to Magnus and made sure Isis was calm before going to get the even further wrecked machine of Adam Worths. The fact that it had been used after getting half a storage room dropped on it was impressive much less how intact some of it looked after everything. There were alot of components in this thing he had never even seen before coming to this new sanctuary. Had to be stuff from that Praxis place or something. Hauling it up to the others he was happg to see everyone still calm and Isis actually talking to.one of them.

Here ya go boss... DeBlythe activating it seems to have fragged the display on it and well half the previous sanctuary storage facility landing on it before that I am its as together as it is but Boss he had to have used stuff like your dad did from whatever that Praxis place is cause its more like what we have here now than anything I have ever seen before.

Amy Pond listened to the conversations and questions Isis, Henry and Helen were putting forward and nodded her head. Her soft Scottish accent spoke up “I know the doubts you must have. I’ve known the Doctor since I was a wee girl and I’ve been with him in crisis after crisis. But he only means well.” Looking directly at Magnus she said “He trusts you, he sees in you his equal. I don’t know who this ‘Worth’ or ‘de Blythe’ are or what they’ve done. I do know there is a danger of the material universe as we know it collapsing in on itself.”

Looking at the damaged display panel she shook her head “I’m quite nimble so I might be able to crawl into the back of the machine and reconnect the display leads to a mobile phone or I pad but I’ll need someone to hold me and pass me the laser screwdriver when I need it.” She handed Helen the rod the Doctor had taken from the Master and said “I’ll need you to hand this to me when I’m in position.”

Getting down on her knees and then crawling forward Amy wished she’d worn trousers or at least tights. Her mini skirt was rising up as she moved exposing her white panties to the world and she hoped none of the men could see her. Once in position she reached out to Helen who passed her the laser screwdriver. Holding the tip to the wire she pushed a combination of buttons which diverted the display signal to her I pad.

“OK I’ve done it. We should be able to read what we have to do” she said before finding she was stuck. Then she asked “Doctor Magnus, can you … can you help me out please?”

As she came out she felt three buttons from her top rip away and she was aware of oil on her face. “Doctor Magnus” … she hesitated “in a moment, once we’ve fed this in ready for the Doctor would you happen to have some old clothes I could borrow please?”

Amy shinnied beneath the console and Helen got an eyeful of creamy white skin covered in only slightly whiter silk which hid very little of the young woman's private contours. Helen found her gaze fixed there for a tad bit longer than it should have been and blushed slightly. Stopping to quickly look around and check if anyone had noticed her reaction to Amy but thankfully everyone seemed quite wrapped up in their own tasks and thoughts at the moment. That was much to close a call, thought Helen, internally chastising herself for ogling an attractive woman when the very universe was in danger...and with her boyfriend close enough to catch it.

Amy slid out after having done the necessary repairs quite skillfully but her top lost some buttons and Helen's jaw dropped. She immediately averted her eyes...but she had already seen too much and it was burned into her brain. Gods, she hadn't felt this way about another woman in years! She thought her days of experimentation with the same gender were behind her but apparently her attraction to some women ran deeper than something experimental. She would love to have a chance to explore such confusing feelings...but knew there was not time now. And, what if Amy would find Helen's attraction shocking and offensive? She worried. Oh, and Will, Helen, don't forget. You've got Will. You love Will. That makes sense. Stick with what makes more sense. Her brain screamed in her head.

Amy looked a bit sheepish as she wiped oil from her freckled cheek with the back of her graceful hand and said, “Doctor Magnus” … she hesitated “in a moment, once we’ve fed this in ready for the Doctor would you happen to have some old clothes I could borrow please?”

Helen looked Amy up and down, assessing her size. ''I will find clothes for you. I'll ask Kate. I think she's closer to your size. But, I'm flattered you would think so. You're both quite petite.'' she said with a soft smile.

Amy smiled and Helen's heart skipped at the notice of adorable dimples. ''No worries. Anything will do, thanks.'' she said.

Helen realized Amy looked a great deal like the first woman she'd ever shared a bed with. She wondered if part of Amy's appeal was her incredible resemblance to Iris, her departed best friend.

Amy Pond

Amy saw Helen’s gaze and blushed a little. Yes she had friends who were gay, lesbian, bi sexual and heterosexual and what other people did in bed in the privacy of their own space never bothered her. She loved her Rory the Roman as the Doctor called him. He was her first and only love and the only one who had ever sent shivers down her back. Until now. What was Doctor Magnus thinking? Why were those thoughts exciting her? And why did she wish she and her were alone with all the time in the world at their disposal?

''I will find clothes for you. I'll ask Kate. I think she's closer to your size. But, I'm flattered you would think so. You're both quite petite.'' Helen said with a soft smile.

Amy responded with a smile “No worries. Anything will do.” Then she noticed Helen’s gaze again and she felt strange sensations in her nipples as her mouth dried and her sex moistened. She coughed and tried changing the subject “It’s ok … the … Doctor will be at least two hours and there’s no immediate danger now we’ve sealed the polarity membranes. There’s no need to …” Her voice trailed off as Helen handed her a moist flannel to wipe her face with. As their fingers brushed against each other Amy felt something like an electric shock shoot through her body and she realised she was holding Helen’s gaze.

Suddenly she found herself taking in Helen’s form and she struggled to dismiss the desire to be held by this amazing woman, to feel her lips crushed against hers and to allow whatever might happen to happen. Thinking back to her school days in Scotland she remembered how one of her team mates in the field hockey team, the first openly lesbian woman she had ever met once said to her “No one understands a woman’s body like another woman. One day you might find that to be true.”

Stammering and blushing she said “I’m s … sorry … I … I … I mean th … thank … thank y … I mean.” Her words dried up and she longed for something, someone to break the spell.

Ashley Magnus

Meanwhile in the ethers Ashley was trying to get some point of reference with which she could communicate with Lyda and describe how she was to link with the ancient guardians. She reached out to try to blend with Lyda’s soul. “We are nearly rid of the evil that threatens us” she said gently, placing the thought into Lyda’s psych “The guardians have sent the Doctor to seal the leak for ever.”

Looking directly into the light that shone from the end of the tunnel of death she said to Lyda “My Mother, your Mother, the Doctor from Galifrey they can and will repair it from the material side. I have to do it from my side but I need to go ahead of you. For you it’s still early 2012, I need to get towards the end of the year. Then when the Doctor gets back he will bring you all forward into the current time zone.”

Sending love, light, healing and peace to her friend Ashley sighed “Tell your mother. Please tell her I’m working just as hard over here.”

Kate

Kate nodded and leaving security to the others she took off to her room grabbing some jeans and a tshirt from the dresser drawers and headed back holding them out to Amy.

Here whenever you wanna change clothes there are guest rooms east wing second hallway.

Declan was studying the numbers with Isis seeing if he could shed light n the two extra numbers.

________________

Lyda

Suddenly her expression changed as she stared at Nikola. Her eyes were a combination of the swirling of the Destroyer and her own.

I have to talk to mother Aunt Helen and our guests. Ashley has information/I have information for them... Nikola... now... I will deal with the Dr later help me to mother...

Her eyes darted to the nurse when she tried to sit up ripping the beeping monitor off of her and tossing he wires away.

I will be back later... try to stop me I dare BOTH of you.

The nurse shook her head no that she would not stop her.

That beeping says you are fully remerged child just return for him to do a check up when you are done. The ancient one was waiting for something just as I thought.

Lyda was feeling much better rather quickly as she stood.

In that case inform my mother as soon as I can get changed I have information for them from Ashley

Nikola Tesla hurried to help his current flame get out of her medical gown and into some street clothes so she could go to Helen and Isis and the others with her information. She was talking faster than he could follow as she tried to explain everything happening in the other realm, or her head, or wherever...

''Come on, Lucy. We're in a hurry.'' he called at the child dawdling behind him as he supported Lyda's unsteady steps with one arm and carried the baby in the other.

He didn't look behind him to check that she was following his instructions since he could hear her shoes clicking lightly on the hard marble floor trailing them.

Lucy barely made it into the lift as they entered it and she sighed heavily, leaning against the wall as the lift moved. In her mind's eye she could see the Other Side Sanctuary founders all gathering together. They were trying to get her attention. ''Something's happening. Patricia and the others, they want to tell us something....No, wait...I think they want to talk to Helen and the weird people from the blue box.'' She announced.

Lyda

Once they got to the others Lyda moved to Isis and Aunt Helen. Isis looked over watching Nikola for a moment then nodding to him. She would accept this apparent union as long as Lyda was happy. Lyda told them all she had somehow gotten from Ashley though she was not sure how. She then looked to their strange guests.

For now... I will accept that you should be trusted to fix this problem... I can aid in matters if needed and if need be see.to mothers acceptance of the fact that we are to trust you... I will however if that trust proves to be in error and harms comes to any of my family here I will not hesitate to help Mother end whatever problem that is.

Isis released a low growl that was directed it would seem at Lyda.

They know father... it will be fine. When you were dealing with Dr Abbyn and Worth do these numbers mean anything to you Lyda?

Lyda walked over and began working with her mother falling silent at the growl. Isis did smile at how protection five he daughter was over a family she only recently found.

Lyda turned trying to spot Big Guy.

Naomi told me.you know those that Grandfather arranged to be in Dr Abbyns employ to watch over me. If you could find the driver tell him if the items from Dr Abbyns labs are not already here in a lab for us to please bring them here.... I think one of the two machines I never could fully figure out due to missing pieces or codes mitt be what we need.

Lucy ran to Helen's side taking her hand. ''Something important...your mother is trying to explain something important...'' She said, pulling Helen insistently until the tall woman would kneel before her so she could place her hands upon her temples. Lucy held Helen's face in her hands and closed her eyes, showing Helen the message.

''...ASHLEY?'' Helen blurted. Patricia was gently pushing Ashley to the front of the group before them.

Will ran toward them now, his eyebrows furrowed as he hovered protectively, wanting to know more.

Helen tried to explain as she watched the vision Lucy showed her.
Ashley, as Helen saw her, was not fully there, literally, appeared transparent, like she was disappearing. But, none of them looked alarmed about it. They seemed relaxed, proud, even.

Lucy nodded, ''Ashely's here. I mean, she's here more than there. She's with us...But, she has no body.''

In the Fagharpi system the TARDIS re materialised on the dark side of the third moon orbiting the Planet Deanaria Vert. The Doctor smiled to himself as he remembered his friend Doctor Gregory Magnus. Not many humans had the brain capacity to understand parallel physics. His friend Einstein did and Gregory and he felt certain his new acquaintance Helen did too. Or to be precise she did. The TARDIS had transported him over a billion years into the future and he knew everyone who meant anything to him was dead, gone and forgotten. Even the earth no longer existed and the Milky Way had long since collided with the Andromeda Galaxy in an atomic blast that nearly rivalled the 'Big Bang'.

In the caves of the moon he found his old coat and a bag of Jelly Baby sweets he left there on his previous visit during his fourth incarnation. Digging down he found the Ross he needed to repair the fault line caused by the Worth Experiments and made worse by de Blythe.

A door swung open and the Doctor was face to face with an old friend he met on his previous trip. "Detronis!" The Doctor exclaimed "this is a pleasant surprise".

The voice echoed a reply "Doctor, we knew you were coming and we have prepared everything. You will need the rods to fill the fissure and then you will have to transport Helen Magnus and her colleagues forward 363 days exactly to reverse the procedure making a permanent repair. You have to be precise".

The Doctor thanked his friend and took the rods into the TARDIS store. As he began the cooling procedure he wondered what was happening on earth over a billion years back in time. Even a Time Lord couldn't be omnipresent and he knew he woul have to wait before travelling back. He also knew that in Helen Magnus and her team along with his own companion Amy Pond the Universe was in safe hands.

The baby made a muffled sound as Nikola Tesla held her just a little tighter at the news Helen conveyed through Lucy.

Nikola couldn't help himself. He knew Ashley had every right to parent his child as well as him but the news that Ashley was sort of back, or could return was the cause of mixed feelings for him. She'd want a chance to bond with her baby and to make parental decisions. This would mean less for Nikola. He tried not to feel jealous of any lost rights this might cause him and instead focused on the world of good it would do Helen and the others (and even Nikole) if Ashley could indeed return not just in spirit form but also with an actual body. An idea occurred to him and he voiced it, ''Isis, you got any more of those empty bodies hidden around someplace? Maybe we could figure out de Blythe's methods again, you know...to give Ashley a place to live?''

The grateful expression on Helen's face was enough salve for his previously wounded ego. He'd get over his jealousy. Ashley deserved a full life. He would help despite himself.

Kate

Kate looked over then around trying to get used to all this.

If Ashley has two hours I know where the abnormal is housed that makes them... normally they are food for it but this one does seem to like meatlovers pizza too in a pinch.... I will ask for one of the bodies and how...

Lyda looked over

I can help Ashley find her path into the body... tell it we need a pure soul form body... I will pay its price for that.

Something in Lyda's tone made Isis tense with a snarl. Protective motherly side perhaps but still. Kate nodded and took off placing the order with the surface dwelling cover for this place for the pizzas anyways.

Kate

Kate nodded and leaving security to the others she took off to her room grabbing some jeans and a tshirt from the dresser drawers and headed back holding them out to Amy.

Here whenever you wanna change clothes there are guest rooms east wing second hallway.

Amy Pond

Amy thanked Kate and carefully folded the jeans and T Shirt placing them over her left arm. “I think I’ll change now if no one minds but I need to ask another favour. The Doctor could be gone for a few days so … is there somewhere I can sleep? All I need is a wee bed, but that can wait”

Making her way to an empty room without a bed, just a table Amy shut the door and changed as quickly as she could. Rushing back to the laboratory she heard the conversation about Ashley and offered her help. “I know I’ve only known you a short time but I feel I’ve known you longer. Is there anything I can do to help?”

Ashley Magnus

Ashley overheard the conversation and tried to communicate with Lyda “The Scottish girl Amy …” She tried to speak slowly “She has a rare blood type, a unique blood type. I sense she has had a transfusion or an injection that has changed the molecular structure of her cells.” Ashley used all her concentration to force the thoughts home “If she is willing to donate some of her blood, a quarter of a litre will be enough, and it will mean the new body … my new body will be able to take on any form I want. I will be able to assume the identical form I had in my original life.” She drew very close to Lyda and said “She is a very kind soul and I know she will help if she can. Ask her please.”

Lyda

Her eyes shifted briefly and looked Amy she was getting bits and pieces of Ashley's words as she spoke.

Your blood... blood transfusion... it will help her... help Ashley transform the body easier when it gets here.

She shook her head.

Mother when we drop from destroyer we should not hear the other side should we?

Isis walked over to her and studied her eyes for a moment before speaking.

Try to speak to mother... or one of the others... father could have helped you develop an ability not common outside of the Destroyer

Lyda nodded

Grandmother please try to speak to me. I would love to hear you.

Isis looked to Lucy just in case.

Amy Pond

Amy looked at Lyda “You know about my blood?” She hesitated “When I gave birth to my daughter my blood could not stop flowing, I was in danger of bleeding to death. I needed Time Lord Blood, not much but just enough to blend with mine. It makes childbirth easier as well as soma transference.” She smiled “Of course you can have some of my blood if it will help. But you will have to take it directly from my vein and allow it to connect directly.”

She took a deep breath “I know what it is like to worry about a child. Tell Doctor Magnus I’ll do anything in my power to help her get her daughter back.”

Lyda glanced to Amy waiting for Grandmother or one of them to speak to her and nodded.

Ashley mentioned your blood... Forgive me this is all strange to me.

Lyda glanced around glad her mother was there but was looking more for Nikola not sure why but she was wanting him near... she was not sure how she felt about that either... now however was not the time to question things... not till everything was calm if everything was ever calm around her family.

Declan walked over and motioned for Amy's arm so that he could draw the blood and have it ready when the pure soul hollow one was ready. He always found it strange that those creatures could make basically empty clones... even working with sanctuary this particular creature and its strange ability was still almost horror movie to him.

Lyda
Isis walked over to her and studied her eyes for a moment before speaking.

Try to speak to mother... or one of the others... father could have helped you develop an ability not common outside of the Destroyer

Lyda nodded

Grandmother please try to speak to me. I would love to hear you.

Isis looked to Lucy just in case.

Lucy's eyes widened and she nodded, seeing exactly the woman Lyda was hoping she'd find on the other plane. She first silently called out a greeting to all and announced who it was she wanted to speak with. As Patricia stepped forward and bent toward the 'window' Lucy and her so often used to communicate, Lucy said aloud, ''Your step-daughter and her daughter seek your guidance. They'd like to talk with you.''

''Then, we should talk.'' agreed Patricia with a smile. ''Touch them and you know they'll see and hear me with your help.''

Lucy nodded and sighed preparing for the energy drain the communication would create on her. She took one hand from Isis and one from Lyda. Soon they could both see and hear what she always could. Lucy acted as a conduit for the communication.

Helen thanking Amy for her help drew Lucy from the haze of acting as a psychic conduit. She had to focus to not fall down she was so dizzy from the quick withdrawel.

After the brief communication with Patricia and the others Lucy watched them drift to the newcomer woman and all the adults prepared to do a blood transfusion between Amy Pond and a living mannequin. A soulless but living body, the very notion of it terrified Lucy. She instinctively drew away from the scene, stepping back to take shelter in the arms of Helen. ''I can't look. Those things are so creepy, Helen.''

Helen had to agree, they creeped her out too but she was more scientifically minded about it so she steeled herself against fearful reactions and stood in readiness to help when needed. Will simply looked at them both with an expression of mixed protectiveness and disbelief on his face. ''Take her, Will, I've got to help. I mean, it's Ashley...'' she stated, stressing her daughter's name meaningfully.

He took Lucy from her arms and held the child tightly nodding his understanding, ''Go, rebirth your daughter. I know how important this is to you.'' he said.

Helen was at the medical table as quickly as humanly possible. ''Alright, let's get this done.'' she said firmly slipping on gloves.

Isis was happy to see mother once more but knew this was not what Lyda was asking and she explained to Patricia that she needed without Lucy's help to try to say something to Lyda to see if father had done something to the destroyer ability to hear the other side at least. She smiled as they hugged and nodded know father probably did.

Once the connection was broken Lyda stood ready trying to listen as she smiled... I hear something...

Patricia took this time to tell Lyda about something her mother and Helen did s children ~ A young son of a family friend said something mean to Helen. I should have known your mother was unique then when she flew into a rage and broke the young mans jaw so he could learn to speak politely without anyone else suffering his stupidity. Helen told her there were more ladylike ways to deal with it and turned the young mans skin blue with some harmless chemical she added to the soup they took him.

Lyda laughed... Mother broke some poor fools jaw and Aunt Helen turned him blue... am I hearing this right.

Isis blinked and began helping with the hollow one dripping some of the blood for ingestion and then using what was left in the syringe to add it to the blood stream.

Now we wait though I think mother just told Lyda about Frederick.

Henry walked over to Lyda... you have to tell us more.

Amy Pond

Amy smiled at Helen as she thanked her and positioned herself onto the hospital trolley. “Time Lord blood is richer than human blood” she explained and under normal circumstances has to be diluted. As it is living in my blood stream already that won’t be necessary in this case.”

As the mannequin was prepared Amy made a fist with her left hand to facilitate the blood transference. A tube extended from her arm to the the mannequin’s right wrist, needles penetrated both arms and the procedure began by which a pint of Amy’s blood was taken and flowed into the cold dead soma. After the exchange the needles were withdrawn and the wounds covered by cotton wool and plaster.

Looking at Magnus Amy said “Now use the defibrillators to start the heart and the blood cells will multiply. The body will be filled in minutes. Then we wait for the transfer your daughter’s soul into the living body.”

There was a hive of activity around the empty husk but as soon as energy began to be sparked into the body the flesh began to colour as the blood took on a life of its own.

Ashley Magnus

In the ethers Ashley felt herself being drawn into the mannequin sensing her very being becoming heavier and warmer until she underwent total loss of awareness. Suddenly she was aware of warmth and light and she opened her eyes to see Magnus looking at her. She uttered just one word “Mum!” And she smiled

Amy Pond

Amy waited while mother and daughter were reunited before saying “Ashley will need to rest now. And so will I because I’m sure the Doctor will want me to help him when he returns. Doctor Magnus … Can I ask a favour please? Do you have a quiet room where I can rest and sleep please. I just need to replace my energy.”

Helen kissed Ashley on the forehead watching her daughter drift off into a deep slumber. She then nodded to Amy, ''Sure, I will happily show you to a room of your own myself. Consider my home yours. Stay as long as you'd like.'' she invited, feeling a sense of gratefulness wash over her, and perhaps something more...As they walked alone in the quieter residential area of the house she found herself once more noticing attractive things about Amy Pond...her voice, the sway of her hips as she walked beside her, her full pouty lips which looked sweet and kissable...Helen was entranced by Amy's laugh as they talked in her room, a tastefully decorated, medium sized room of comfort.

The conversation was easy and light and Helen was hypnotized once more by the green eyes and all of the similarities of this woman, Amy, to her once lover and friend, Iris. Before she could help herself she'd blurted out, ''Amy you're so very lovely.'' and felt herself blush with surprise at her honest declaration but it could not be taken back now.
