Then she should get a job and hire a maid. My son had a bad habit of leaving his crap all over the house. I got tired of picking up after him so I started picking the stuff up and locking it in one of my suitcases. He had to pay a 50 cents to get each one back! I told him that I didn't mind being a maid, but maid services cost money.

screw that I throw it in the garbage. I get enough out of my daughter when I was her clothes....I always keep the money she has in her pockets. Someday though she's gonna get smart and take her money out.

I did that too. When my son started getting paid to play at church I raised the fee to a dollar. Pretty soon he was picking up everything!

I ended up throwing out three handfuls of legos the other night when I stepped on them walking through a dark house...when my middle son asked what happened to my legos I told him they were on the floor and now they are in the garbage..he said was so damn mad at me they were mixed in with my coffee grounds. I haven't stepped on a lego since.

I know that. My son had tons of them and they were everywhere. Experience is the best way to teach kids.
