She is a very kind woman...very supportive and loving of her friends...and the biggest animal lover and advocate...have to have a huge heart for that...

Normally , I log onto Lit, read posts and participate with my thoughts, feelings, opinions, reactions to the threads and then log off, without getting involved in drama....been there , done that, and vowed it would never happen again.

However, Thandi and I are friends , so I feel compelled to add my two cents.

Since the title of this thread is "Say Something Nice Again" , it was certainly inevitable that others would respond to your previous post. It has nothing to do with overreacting or not being able to lighten up...simply the fact that it appeared hurtful, whether it was intended or not toward Thandi.

The reason I state, "intended or not" is perhaps you were just making an interjection that was never meant toward Thandi at all...and as we all know, communication on the Internet can sometimes be interpreted incorrectly.
Only you have the answer if it was or was not.

In either case, I truly hope you will realize and understand other's reactions and the sensitivity of it all....
