I have been asked by a few people If I would put together another PG Scavenger Hunt. The first one was a blast for this who participated but I would like more participation if we did another one.

If you don't know about the first one essentially you partner up with someone and go out and fin the clues. Then you take a picture of your team name with the listed item. Then post it on the finders thread.

FGG and Chaingun won the first one getting all 150 items. You would have 1 week to accomplish all of the tasks. The only thing I ask is that you post stories of the fun as we got a lot of them last time.

Those of you that played last time put in a good word for why more should play this year. Why it was so much fun and all that good stuff.

Lemme know if anyone is interested.

It was really fun. And even though my team didn't win, it was fun getting to know new people and searching for the items.
:D

I had a blast! I thought my team did okay. I'd play again for sure!!

I had a BLAST last time! We had so much fun, and so many laughs!!!

Of course it is ok. I have just gotten a few pm's wondering if I would do another one. I am just unsure if we can get enough people to play.

I hope we can. Although, maybe now it would be best to wait until after the holidays? In the mean time, maybe we could do another game. Something that would be less time involved.. like a dare thread or a mini scavenger hunt? I don't know.. you're way more creative than me!

I did not participate in the last one, but would be willing to be on a team this time around. Especially if someone would PM me and ask me to join them :)

I'm also thinking after the holidays would be better. Things are a little hectic for a lot of people now. :)

Ok we can make it for after the holidays. I didn't realize that took up so much time for a lot of people.

How about a holiday themed scavenger hunt? People will be out and about shopping anyway. Whatchu think?

A holiday themed one could be fun. Chi-pets anyone? lol

I would totally be up for that.

But for the holidays, make it much shorter. The amount of time my partner and I spent on the phone making plans and trying to make it happen would be so time prohibitive right now that I think many would simply say no during December.

Make it a thirty item hunt that you've got a week to come up with pictures for. And let the participants vote on who has the best story. There's lots of ways to make it more challenging, I'm sure.

My partner and I had a blast last time.

My suggestions for changing it if you want to do it right now before Christmas are as follows...

--make a shorter list with holiday themed items. (Coats on the bed, a red ornament, a black baby in a manger, etc) Thirty items like that in a week might be doable right now while everyone is so busy.

--add in at least two dares that require proof. (Like your username on an ornament hanging on your town's Christmas tree in the square...)

--maybe pair up one man with one woman randomly as a way to "force" people to get to know someone new. (Cause I know if I'm paired with fungatorgurl again, we're going to win.)

--let each team secretly PM you two suggestions for items that need to be found.

--let each team vote on who provides the best story for their hunt.

And the trash talking begins already!!

Ooo.. you're going down! :p

Fun ideas though. :D

I can make the list shorter and holiday themed. I can add a few more difficult tasks to the list. I just need participants.

What am I getting myself into here?

Depends. If you can't read that odd language it's written in and the small font that it is printed in, I can tell you that it's really nothing to worry about. I mean it's not like you're signing some kind of hold harmless agreement in case of damage, injury, abduction, over-exertion, grope-tackling/or settling of contents during shipping. What could go wrong?

Wait, so there won't be any groping, tackling or over-exertion? Damn my luck.

Oh, perhaps you misunderstood. I'm asking you to sign a hold harmless agreement. I am trying to avoid the litigation following damages from the grope-tackling.
