Eden Wolf had been head nurse at the Hospital for a good two years, with her intelligence she could do a lot more then people her own age. She loved her job and even loved it more because of her friend who worked in the hospital, he had been a doctor for a while so it was easy to tell he was older then her. Then again being twenty one seems she was the youngest one working at the hospital but really it did not bother her in the least.

She loved it and would never give up her job, someone would have to pry it off her dead body. Everyone liked her, most importantly the patience seemed to like her as well. Since she was rather nice and respectful, and would bend over backwards for other people patient or co worker. Though her doctor friend was the only friend she had at the moment, she never had a boyfriend or anything like that. Matt was everything to her but had no idea how he saw her.

Perhaps in time she would find that out, but right now nothing seemed to matter.
A note had been left on her locker from Matt telling her where to meet and when, so grabbing the note she headed in the back of the hospital since she was on lunch break. Slowly opening up the door and stepped inside, not seeing him and just rubbed her hands on her neck, she had on purple and black scrubs. It was the kind of color she loved.

Matt paced the dark break room alone, he couldn't believe he was doing this. Matt was 33 and had been working in the hospital for almost 8 years now, two of these years with Eden as his nurse. Eden and Matt hit it off pretty easily, both were very smart and had finished college early. Matt took Eden under his wing as best he could, teaching her the ropes. This eventually grew to friendship, taking breaks together, going out after work, that kind of stuff.

But recently Matt had started to grow feelings for her. At first he tried to hide them, I mean he WAS so much older then her, and in a way her boss. But eventually he couldn't take it any more, he had to tell her, so here he was, in this dark room waiting on Eden when he heard the door open behind him, Eden walking in and looking around for him.

Eden's stormy eyes looked forward thinking she saw someone moving in the shadows and smiled a little bit. "Matt?" She called since she could not see him it was hard to tell if it was Matt or someone else. Her stormy colored eyes looking around, this place had not been in use more like a storage room. But still had a nice big bed since the staff needing some sleep came in here, She sat down on the bed. Silently sighing as she kept thinking of what Matt had done for her over the time she had been here.

He always knew how to make her day easier, if she had a bad day then it was easy to laugh at stupid jokes, making her feel like she had at least one friend in this world. Which was actually rather nice, Eden never had luck with anyone. So she was much of a loner, but that changed the second she met Matt. Pulling her black hair out of her eyes and put it into a pony tail, sitting back one leg over the other. Smiling ever so happily it was nice. Taking her break in a quiet place was nice to her.

Matt steps out the shadows as Eden sets herself on the bed. He can feel his heart beating in his chest. This is stupid, he thought to himself, he could do a million surgeries a day but he was terrified of telling this girl how he felt about her. "Hey Eden," he manages to say as he sits himself down next to her "How's work coming?" he asks, knowing how stupid that sounded, but wanting to drag some time before telling her how he felt.

Eden watched him moving out of the shadows, and smiled a bit seeing him sit down. "Hey Matt" She said with a soft smile. Hearing his question she sat back a bit her hands keeping her up, thinking about the day. "Pretty good, been rather busy in the hospital" She liked the way he looked at her and it would be nice to just relax and talk to a friend, her soft lips turned into a smile and was actually rather content being with him. Rubbing the back of her neck as she silently sighed, looking at him it looked .

Matt smiles back, trying to hide his nervousness. He watches Eden rub her neck and so he sits behind her and rubs her neck and shoulders for her. "A good day at work? from what I can tell you've been working your butt off," he says with a grin. Just come out with it he thinks to himself as he smells Eden's perfume as they sit together. "So listen, I wanted to tell you something..." he starts before pausing.

Eden made sure he did not know she could tell something was on his mind, but hearing what he said she sat up and smiled looking at him and was rather happy to have some alone time. Looking into those eyes of his they were rather beautiful but then she heard the last thing he said and sat there quietly. "Oh and that is that Matt?" She said with happiness in her voice. Something she liked to be and that was happy.

Matt let out a little sigh. Might as well do it he tells himself "Well...we've known each other for about two years know, and we're pretty close, um..I don't want to freak you out or anything, but I want to tell you that I uh I kind of having feelings for you." he manages to say, looking her in her eyes, his heart still pounding.

Eden heard what he said about liking her, she felt herself blush as she looked down to hide her blushing. Smiling she nodded to him looking back up and sighed with a rather wonderful moment. "I have feelings for you to Matt and just because you are older then me, does not meant that I see you as a freak because your not. "

Matt laughs a little, his nervousness going away, happy to see Eden smiling at him. "Hey I'm not THAT much older." he says with a grin. "But still, isn't it weird to you? I am older, and I am kind of your boss, I mean we'll probably have to hide the fact that we're dating..."

Eden smiled at Matt and chuckled a little bit, but hearing his question she shook her head. "No I don't think its weird, some men and women like older or younger women. Frankly I am flattered" She said placing her hand on his, it was nice to be able to be free. "And I figured we would have to, but I am good at keeping secrets"

Matt suddenly felt the urge to kiss her, he leans in placing his lips on her mouth and draws her in for a long passionate kiss, loving the taste of her lips on his. He knew that they both would have to run back to work in a few minutes but right now all he wanted was her.

Eden was not really surprised that he was making his move, when he kissed her lips she closed her eyes and returned the kiss. Following his lead since she had no clue what she was doing, since she had not been with a man before. So this was really out of her legauge but was glad he was kissing her. Placing her hands on his shoulders, the kiss was heated and it was perfect for her first kiss. She opened herself up to him.

It took all his restraint to keep Matt from pushing Eden into the bed and make love to her right then and there, but the rational side of his brain was telling him how much trouble they would be if they were caught in here. He slowly parted his lips away from hers, the taste of her mouth still lingering on his as he backed away. "Tonight, spend the night at my place?" he asked, running a finger along the strands of hair that were still falling over her face regardless of her pony tail.

Eden watched as he pulled away which was rather painful because she wanted to make love to him, but knew he was right. If someone had caught them both would be fired. She would rather be fired then have Matt lose his job. Smiling a bit as she nodded to him stroking his cheek. "Id like that Matt, once I am done with my rounds I will join you at your place" She said she was beyond happy that he wanted her to join him at his place. Since she loved his house it was beautiful, course with how much he made it was no surprise.

Matt spent the rest of the day in a bit of a happy daze. He couldn't push the thought of Eden out of his mind. The closer he got to his shift end the more excited he was, he all but ran out of the hospital to his car, driving home. Eden had been here a couple times before but never for the night, and of course, never for sex. He looked around the house, picking up this and that, making sure the house looked perfect before he headed up to take a quick shower.

Eden's shift ended half an hour before Matt's did so she went on home to get into the shower to clean off the smell of the hospital. She loved working at the hospital but hated the smell of it, and right now everything was just rather content. She grabbed her wallet and keys making sure she had a change of clothing, getting into her car which was a nice little sports looking kind of car. A 2005 Chevy Malibu which she loved. And parked outside of Matt's place a couple hours later, and she knocked on his front door, her bag over her shoulder.

Matt had just got out of the shower minutes earlier, his hair still wet as he ran to the door, opening it in a pair of old blue jeans and a vintage tshirt. He takes Eden's bag and lays it on the couch for her before grabbing her around her waist, continuing the kiss they hard started at the hospital. Then he slowly breaks away and smiles down at her "I wasn't sure you would come, is there anything I can get you? a drink maybe?"

Eden smiled seeing him and watched as he took her bag and smiled even more, feeling his hands around her waist and the kiss was amazing. She returned the kiss that he gave her, and when he broke it off hearing what he said she nodded. "Drink would be nice Matt thanks" She said with a happy smile on her face. Walking in and sat down on the couch, looking at him she was nervous since she had never been with a man so this was a nice situation.

Matt walks into the kitchen, coming back with two wine glasses and joins Eden at the couch, siting close to her, their bodies almost touching. "Something wrong?" he asks, looking her in the eyes. "You look nervous."

Eden smiled at him and chuckled a little bit "yeah a little I am just not use to a guy being interested in me, spent all my life being single. Which means sex hasn't been something I have ever done, though I am glad. I use to have dreams with you making love to me, so I guess one of my dreams are coming true" She said reaching up stroking his cheek showing she did want him nervous or not.

Matt laughed, "Ah the life of a person who works in a hospital, we never get a chance to socialize, I feel your pain." he says as he takes a drink from his glass, the touch of Eden's hand on his cheek sending sparks through him. "You have no idea how long I've waited for this, I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to tell you."

Smiling a bit at him as she sipped her drink and looked at him "I think you waited so long because of your age. I guess I should have talked about liking older men, then you wouldn't have had to worry" She giggled and enjoyed the drink. Her stormy eyes looking at him and was rather happy about this.

Matt leans in and kisses her again, before giving her rump a little spank "Did you just call me old?" he teased, pulling her closer to him, slowly kissing her along her neck, the wine finally hitting him, taking his inhibitions away.

Eden smiled putting her glass down and felt his lips on her neck and smiled. "No to me your age is just perfect Matt" She chuckled a bit and ran her fingers in his hair. Enjoying the touch of his lips against her soft neck.
