Oh, no... I don't mind sharing. First of all, I suppose I should clarify: When I said that things had changed in my life, I was referencing the time in my life during which I placed the VERY first post in this thread, not the reply I posted one month ago.

I have been moved to a sister office at work, have changed my life plans accordingly, been in and out of the hospital for a while -- that has all passed, been contemplating education, have been writing more -- yay!, and given a lot of thought to the idea of love.

I don't mean to be cryptic with the above explanation, but -- how does one sum up their every thought, their every dream, and how each and ever one of those may change? It's a grand task for one post, certainly!

Exactly. I've lived in Indiana all of my life and I've travelled the world and I have only found a few places I'd rather live if I could choose now. I love the area and for the most part I love the people. I've never considered the place dreary, but then I don't live in the northern part of the state either

A Message To Those Who Seek:

I have been somewhat... well, amazed would be the wrong word... but, I think I will settle for it.... I have been somewhat amazed by the responses I have been getting with regard to my post. Perhaps I was unclear in my intentions... thus, allow me to clarify myself....

I enjoy sex, as was mentioned in my initial post. I enjoy sex quite a bit -- sex in storage rooms, sex on pool tables, sex in cars, sex in nice quiet beds cuddled up with a partner you care about, rough and ready sex on the floor or against the wall. However... while that is all well and good (and, believe me... it is good...), I can find sex anywhere. Sex is easy... anonymous, unfeeling sex is the easiest thing of all.

Sex is a basic bodily function -- our bodies prepare for the act naturally, with very little action required on our parts... if we enjoy ourselves, all the better! However, animals can do the same thing. While sex would be nice, and enjoyable, and even welcomed... I seek more than that... I seek substantially more than that, if someone is willing to traverse that path. That would be the scenic route -- the one with a few more stops and rocks than the "Sex for Beginners" path.

With regard to myself, the external is superfluous... it is what is inside that I am looking for.... I am looking for someone who is as intelligent, passionate, biting, honest, brutal, surreal, grounded, mysterious, open, searching, exploring, daring, afraid, loving, cold, amazing, ordinary, and -- ultimately -- real as I am.

I realize that on this site, that may be the impossible dream, but I feel that this is a broad forum -- one which attracts not just those seeking the solace of a good fuck, but also that of a sound understanding, and the need for human contact.
