Looking for co-writers for a thread set on an island, deserted apart from the played characters, who've all been dropped there because there's something abnormal about them and the designated punishment is isolation. The island is protected by satellite controlled missiles so anyone who escaped would be killed instantly a mile or so away. There's no contact with the rest of the world besides a drop of food and basic supplies from the air once a month and occasionally a new 'resident' parachuted on. The reason for your characters punishment would be up to you - could werewolf, vampire, some kind of mutant, char with magical power etc. Looking for up to 8 players but can start the thread with 1 other for now.

Also room for a couple of guards who live permanently on the island for a set number of years and then go home to enjoy their high earnings (obviously they'd have to be a little warped/sadistic to have taken the job) - but these are not essential.

NB - incest, scat, bestiality (fantasy half-person/half-animal is ok) and bloodplay are out.

He is gunner and go getter. He wants to make that big deal to get to the top. Robert has a very assertive and aggressive personality but he has never met anyone like her before. On the advice of a friend, I have joined the apparently wonderful world of Lit (her words exactly!).

While I'm new, I have a couple of years experience of rping, sexually and non-sexually, under my belt. I was told to have a few ideas for when I joined up. So here are just a few:

College Roomies
Two new college students in a time when coed dorms are becoming the norm.

Sex Therapist
To tackle the growing problem of sexually frustrated college geeks or simply shy folk, a sex therapist has been brought in, whose approach is more hands on.

New Neighbour
The house beside mine has been empty for 5 years. I'm the only college kid for miles. Suddenly, a new family arrives and moves in. They have a daugther my age. Maybe we can become friends?

Above the High Seas

I had won a cruise on the local radio. It came at the most opportune time, as I desperately needed a break from work. Maybe I'll meet a nice girl on board......

Summer at the Lake

I decided to head to the lakehouse I had inherited from my grandparents for the summer. I had managed to land a part-time lifeguard job at the local campsite. What adventures can be explored here?

Fantasy Caravan (medieval, middle eastern, magic, djinn, other creatures)

I'd like to start a thread about a caravan set in a mythical world, but we'll base the map and place names on our own world to keep things simple. The world is magical but with a little steampunk thrown in. I picture Davinci's inventions as things that would work in this world. Perhaps instead of being powered by steam, they are powered by magic. The machine are things of beauty and expert craftsmanship.

The caravan is traveling from Persia, around through Turkey ((I suppose I need to do some research on the silk road)) and into Europe. The Sultan of Persia (a Djinn) is sending gifts --one gift is the mysterious Jewel of Iskandar--to the King of...(where? Germania? Italia?) to open trade discussions and try to stave off a war that would involve all of Europe (like the Holy wars, I guess) ((finer plot points can be developed as we go, or simply used as a framework for what I see as a more character driven story.

We can have lots of players, you could be a pilgrim, a thief, some noble returning home, or going to another land. You can play multiple characters.

I will be the Master of the Caravan to keep things moving in terms of what day it is, where we are, etc. I will also play the leader of the Persian envoy. He is not happy to be on this mission, failure could cost him much more than his head. His name is Orsinio. Among his many servants is a young man, Vincent, from Britannia. Vincent was shipwrecked and after proving himself an able courtier, moved quickly up the ranks to the attention of the Sultan. He has finally been given leave to return home. Vincent has a secret which he has managed to maintain. This secret will no doubt be revealed in the RP.

Also in the entourage is the beautiful Bahiya, a Circassian woman. No harem is complete without one. Known for their extreme beauty, she is also a gifted musician, singer, storyteller, and dancer. She has been trained at an early age--stolen from her homeland and sold in the slave markets. She is very valuable since women like this are priced by the number of songs they know, the number of instruments they play. She is one of the gifts for the King of Germania?

I think any number can play, what I find from other RP sites is initially lots of people join, then drop off leaving the rest of us with a nice number to work with. You can have multiple characters. My characters have particular likes and dislikes. I hate to say specifically none of this or that, I like to see how the story and characters develop. I suppose as thread owner, if things get too far from what I like to read, I'll ask you and whoever to take certain things to PM or another side thread. ((I RP in a lot of PG sites so I'm used to fading to black or taking the sex to PM if I think it will help develop the characters more.)) I'm happy I don't have to fade to black here and I envision using this basic plot for an erotic novel. I thought a caravan would be perfect for setting up lots of encounters with exotic people (human and fantastic).

Looking for Players

Hi, I'm looking to start an RP or two on here, so I figured I'd introduce myself and scout for players. I'm an old hand at literotica, though this is a relatively new username. I'm fairly good at on-the-fly RPing, and I've run and played in a great many RPs. I enjoy lengthy posts, flagrant in-character-ness, and I'm open to anything you want to write. The games I'm running are:

1. Scion: The Road to Asgard
For those who have played it, this game is based on White Wolf's Scion RPG system. Using an established system makes for a much easier time for all involved, as there is a codified set of rules for doing things that require mechanics. If you haven't played it, never fear! We can walk you through building a character. The game revolves around people who have a bit of divine blood in them, but aren't gods or demigods...yet. If you've seen Percy Jackson, these people are kind of like the kids at camp half-blood. You pick from one of nine pantheons and then choose a god to be a "Scion" of, after which you build your character. The sky's the limit here, folks, and if the rules get in the way, we'll toss the rules. Any god you can think of is acceptable, as long as it is from a polytheistic tradition. Its not that I hate monotheism, its that an all-powerful deity such as Yaweh or Allah is unsuitable for this game. The game will be about the band of Scions as they come into their powers and set out on their quest to save the world from the spawn of the old gods, the Titans. Lots of sex, lots of mythology, lots of party interaction, and a bit of combat. There will be sex and sexual situations of all types, including BDSM and sex with mythical creatures, such as Sirens and Succubi. PM me if you're interested. If I get at least 3 people, I'll start the OC thread.

2. 7th Sea - A swashbuckling Adventure!
Again, using an established system, but without all the cumbersome rules. The setting is used for just that, a setting. I like the setting a lot, and I can give a crash course in it for those who know nothing about it. The setting is a stylized version of Europe, with each nation at the height of its renaissance development. Its like every pirate, three musketeers, and swashbuckling movie you've ever seen in your life, with a little magic thrown in. This setting will be developed according to the players, where I will have everyone prioritize what they want to see done and construct according to that. It will, necessarily, feature a great deal of sex of varying types, but there will also be an over-arching story and a plot, formed in accordance with the players wishes. Sorry to be so deliberately vague in the description, but 7th does not nutshell very well. If this sounds like it is for you, I'd be more than happy to talk and explain and walk you through everything that jumping into this world entails. Again, 3 people constitutes enough interest to start a thread.

If you're interested in either of these, please, feel free to PM me. I'm always happy to talk, and if you're not sure and want to ask questions, that is also more than welcome. If you have any familiarity with either of these settings and do not need my help, feel free to make a character and drop me a line with the basics. I'm only looking for general archetypes right now, but if you want to go the whole nine yards and build a character "by the book" with stats and rules and everything, go for it, and extra points to you for doing so. It will help me immensely, because I'll no longer have to worry about what you can or cannot do. For purposes of building inside the system, if you want to, 7th sea is 115 HP and 25 XP, and Scion is Base points, plus 15 XP. Like I said, if that means nothing and you don't know the rules, that's totally ok. I can work with you to build inside the rules, or just hammer out a narrative concept that works. I'm all about discarding the rules if they get in the way of role play. Hope a few of you have a little interest!
