'I Love You' Like A Lie

Note: A slightly futuristic and a slight gender-bending version of the Count of Monte Cristo, but with a little twist added. I actually was inspired after watching the anime 'Gankutsuou, and the thread will be based more on the anime than the real story of 'Le Comte de Monte Cristo'.

Setting: In the year 5053, despite being far in the future, many aesthetics of France in the 1800s were still retained, particularly in regard to social classes and wealth.

Story: A woman set on starting her quest of revenge; revenge in return for her three closest friends' betrayal. She had planned everything, she had gained ultimate wealth so she could reach to her final twisted goal. As she started her quest by returning to the harsh world after years of planning and waiting, the real world had welcomed her back and made her an instant favorite as she became 'The Countess'. Fate had led her to the ever so naive yet handsome son of one of the families she had targeted. Then she decided, she would use him as her tool to catalyst the process of taking on revenge on the three families. But firstly, she needed to obtain him; body and mind, and perhaps his heart as well. As for the victim, he couldn't help but be entangled in her deadly web and in the process, unaware of her ill-intentions.


Devil Inside

Note: I got this idea from the manhwa 'Diaries of a Demon King', except now I will genderbender the main character and twist the story a bit more to become more dark, to simply put.

Setting: Just like the manhwa, the world is separated into two 'tribes' which is the demon tribe and the human community. The demon community conquers the east side of the world while the humans take over the west. In short, they divided themselves as so to avoid conflicting a feud. Though sadly, feuds among the two had been frequent. This world have limited technology, with the humans depending more on resources while the demons depend on their magical powers.

Story: Lord Akira the Seventh had died for uncertain reason. The demon tribe had become worried as they need a new king to rule over the land. Even more, when the other demonic royalty begun to fight each other for the throne. It had been eighteen years since the throne was left empty and the Royal Court leading the tribe. Now it was time. The Royal Court decided to send Lord Akira's most trusted lieutenant to bring the supposed reincarnation of their Lord. But what he found was what not he or anybody expected. The supposed cruel and merciless Lord seemed to reincarnate into a young form of a female. She was too innocent, too sweet, too kind but yet she seemed to possess the powerful magical power. Now the trusted lieutenant have to teach this female to become a proper ruler of the demon tribe as well as protect her from any harm. For certain, there must be some prying eyes upon the female after all.

Setting: Following the present time.

Story: After a tragic incident which involved his dearest older brother being murdered, he tried to lead a normal life. There were no clues left behind to indicate any suspects on who had done such a terrible thing. A year had passed since then. One day, a woman came up to him, speaking of his brother's death and it seems this woman was linked to his brother in some way. It was then his life turn upside down when the woman said she could help him locate his brother's murderer. What he didn't realise was when he took the offer of her help, it would led him to the ugly truth as well as danger coming to his way.

Kinky Prom RP

Hi all. I have taken a bit of a break from writing on Lit, but am wanting to get back into it after seeing some awesome threads as of late. I am a 26/m who is fairly open to any kind of roleplay and will try just about anything once.

I am looking for a female co-writer to explore a RP I came up with last night. The basic idea is to play a prom night couple throughout the evening. With the characters, I was envisioning high school sweethearts who started dating in junior high. They are terribly in love and have a great time being together. They have been sexually active for a few years now, but both want to do something really wild/kinky together on prom night.

Four years ago they saved their marriage by joining in on the swinging scene. However sex with strangers wasn't really all that satisfying, and sex with friends just seemed too creepy to both of them. So they began talking it over and resolved to place a personal ad in the local swingers magazine for a girlfriend to share between them. Many responded including a young woman named Jennifer Mathison. After exchanging E-mails and phone calls getting to know eachother the Harts decided Jennifer was the one, and arranged for her to come meet them in person at their apartment on Valentine's day as a gift for eachother.

This won't be a wham bam sex thread. I'm more interested in making this a character study of these people as they go through the ups and downs, the jealousies, the joys, and tribulations of people in multi-partner relationships. So I will need two ladies willing to invest in this idea with strong characterization and detail.

I've been off and on for a while and am recently trying to get back in. I've had a dream about this and have rp'd it once, but would like to give it another go. For some reason it just won't let me go.


Plot: The time is set in the future and the world is chaotic and mostly under water. There are a few dry land spots, but not many. Every Island is owned by a High-King and he rules his dry land. Many people died and as a result women are slaves. ALL OF THEM. They all belong to some male in some shape or form.

My Character, Natia - is a female that has been on the run for a long time. She had been honing her melee skills w/a knife of course and living in a monastery. The monastery collapsed into a sinkhole and now she's pretending to be a guy wearing a hooded cloak, traveling at night, staying away from well-lit areas, and trying to find her next refuge.

Here's where you come in: She's hiding/sleeping in a temple when you happen to come in. Someway somehow this can be immediate (like you recognize she's an unowned woman) or later down the road (she slips up) but you claim her as your own.

Naturally there'll be resistance, fighting, fucking, and more fighting ... not particularly in that order.

Plot One

The police are baffled by a master thief known only as Mr. A because he leaves an 'A' symbol after each robbery. He is a world wide known criminal, and tops the wanted list in most countries.

Sonali is a petty theif, who was only able to squirm her way out of jail time with her looks. One police officer knows of this, and using it against her threatens to throw her into prision if she doesn't help catch Mr. A. He is caught by the wiles of Sonali who claims to be A's number-one fan. Mr. A agrees to take Sonali into partnership, not knowing that she is actually working for the police.

I need someone to play Mr. A, but the actual name is still up to you. The way I imagine him, he is cool and calculating, doesn't trust easily, but a gentleman in short. (Basically, the way I picture Eric Bana) He agrees to taking up Sonali because he sees potential in her, but the two end up getting on each other's nerves quite a bit, even with a slight attraction at first. The same rules as always apply for me, do not take over my character, no one liners, be imaginative, no quick fuck scene, learn to build sexual tension, be able to post a few times a day, and I'm not into BDSM. I expect you to be able to post at least three times a day, be imaginative, and write at least two paragraphs per post.

Plot 2

Juliet is a struggling actress in LA, landing only small roles. Michael is owner of the top architectural company in America. His company wishes to build a office on the lot Sonia's home is located, which she refuses when phoned. Michael sends a few of his employees to convince her to her studio where the story starts. People assume he is head over heels in love but Juliet refuses to return his feelings. Everyone is awed by the fact that Juliet had managed to catch the eye of such an influential man and begin to treat her as a princess, giving her better parts, etc. Juliet loves the attention and decides not to set the story straight. The story eventually leaks to a tabloid writer which is where

Michael (name can be changed) is the scion of a reputed business house that owns the top architectural company in America. He has finished his education in England and returned to take over the family business after his father's death. In the course of his business, Michael sends his men to meet Juliet, a struggling actress/model, about putting up an billboard above her apartment. The owner of Juliet's modeling/advertising firm misinterprets this as a romantic advance, and (in view of a possible lucrative ad campaigns and other benefits) encourages Juliet to accept the overture. He promotes her to become the lead model. Juliet is generally sweet and kind. She decides this is an innocent prank (that may fetch her better modeling work) and begins to play out the charade as Michael's girlfriend.

This story eventually leaks to the tabloids, and furious, Michael goes to meet Juliet to set the story straight. When he does meet her he is overthrown by her talkative personality and tells her that he is Chris, a simple fellow from a small town, looking to make a new life in the big city. Juliet lands him some small modeling gigs. She is eventually enamored by his charms and vice versa.

I’m a male, but I have an idea for a lady to start an SRP. This SRP reflects the bad economy. A young lady (mid 20s) looses her job. Alone and living far from home, she is trying to make ends meet. She finally and reluctantly starts doing gigs in the flesh trade. At first she could be doing perfectly legitimate work: maybe she enters a bikini contest and winds the $1,000 prize, maybe she poses nude for the university art class, works as a model (clothed, barely). Maybe later she resorts to striping and doing lap dances at the local strip bar, maybe she is proposed by a guy running a porn website, maybe even some prostitution, etc.

I see the lady starting this SRP as her own, and guys (or gals) could jump in as the “employers”. If it gets going I’d like to jump in as one.

Another idea for a thread I had

Like Fire and Water This a thread based of the cartoon Avatar: The Last Airbender. It'll be set two or three weeks after Katara and Sokka free Aang from the iceberg and just at the time when word that the Avatar has returned is getting around.

I'll play a firebender, a lieutenant of the firenation navy in the southern raiders (the same firenavy units that raided Katara's and Sokka's village years before resulting in the death of their mother) Anyhow, they raid another village of the southern water tribe and discover one of the villagers is a waterbender. They take her prisoner.

My character helps her escape if she helps him to defect.
