Thieves among us

Closed The Time Period is WWII. Train loads of people are evacuating Nazi Germany and other surrounding soon to be inhabited lands.

The story begins with a little girl with a sign around her neck that states her destination and who she is going to being loaded onto a train and seated across from a man in a dark suit with a scarf wrapped around his face. The only thing the little girl can see is his eyes. (color determined by the male writer that will play the vampire).
(Wait don't dismiss it yet he's not shiny lol)

In my mind i'm thinking that her innocent young blood claws against his self control. The girl thinks he looks scared. And although she's only an orphan she gives him her teddy bear named mr winkles. Telling the man that it will keep him safe and not to be afraid.

Turning the trip nothing is said between them. Due to the ice and weather the train ends up sliding off the tracks. The man rescues the unconscious girl and makes the decision to be her benefactor. The records will say all passengers dead, so she can be stolen away and no one will know.
He keeps his distance through her life with the exception of gifts and the bodyguards he leaves at the school to guard her.

Life as a school girl full of a school of just girls is boring. It becomes a game for her to sneak out without her guards knowing. The first time she did it, she was moved to a new school. The second time she did it, he had the school put bars on her windows, the third time she did it, he sent her a lock picking set.

Over the years of her young life she had been instructed in dance, gymnastics, and martial arts. He had set up games while she was in school making her take insignificant things that would gain her a reward if she succeeded.

Each task gradually getting harder and more risky to complete. By the time she graduated she was a well trained thief
Over the next few years he would send her jobs to complete for a cash reward. It was a fun game that she loved and was happy to make a living at it.

At the age of 24 she received an assignment to team up with another thief. (the non shiny vampire)

From there they will go on missions together as their partnership solidify so does her feelings for him.

Now as unlikely as it is that a vampire would fall in love w/ a human, i am a romantic. Maybe there's a connection that he has (like a werewolf would his mate), maybe its her blood, I'll let you make your own assumptions.

How I see vampires.

My favorite examples of vampires would be Eric northman (true blood) and a combination of Klaus and Elijah mickalson (the originals) But in the end its your vampire you decide.

I am looking for some one to do the following idea with

Set in a distant future I am looking to do some thing where a husband loses his wife. This could be any thing from a simple drunk driving accident to some thing unto wards. It could be part of a larger conspiracy or even just plain old bad luck. Either way the husband would more or less survive the accident and the wife would not.

We would then fast forward a year or two I am thinking the husband might be a cop or some thing along those lines now there can be a number of ways this happens but some how he runs into his wife once more

She can either be involved in a case (perhaps he is investigating human trafficking) or a random is that really you? type pass in the street. Perhaps she even breaks into his home to add further shock.

She can either know who he is and their life together or have no recollection of it! I am leaving these ideas open because I would like to see what my partner thinks and or brings to the table. So if the above concept really interest you then please let me know and we can talk about it more and bounce some ideas back and forth!

So my thinking for this one is some thing along the lines of an up and coming country star who by fate gets found by a more pop kind of singer

So this can go a number of ways

The one im leaning towards is that my guy is an up and coming western singer who was recently found and is coming in to sing for the first time.

Your character would be some one who has been in the game for a while, some one who has lost touch with why they are in the music buisness still and who is having maybe drug drinking or relationship issues. You would be passing by and hear my character starting and singing and we would go from there.

Another route this can take is that im an EX country western star, some one who has been around for longer than he wishes and who as above mentions has some drinking and possibly drug issues. He would maybe discover your character singing in a bar and together they would start the journey and eventually strike a romance with one another.

Of course im open to other ideas! If any one has any please let me know!

It'd be called 50/50 which means there are 50 total posts (including first post), with exactly 50 words each.

An idea I've been passing back and forth:

Speechless

Two strangers meeting on a bus or bar and wordlessly interact, all while leading up to sex at his or her place, or even an alley.

The characters reveal themselves as the story progresses. It would give the feeling that these are in fact two strangers meeting.

I’m not THAT new at this anymore! I like having a lot of threads open at once, so even when I have a few going, we can always have a conversation about starting something new I do ask that you’re a fairly competent writer, but that can mean a lot of things. People often gauge posts by length, but a person can pack a lot of interaction into a small space. I just want a lot of CONTENT to work with. So however you write… say hi! Maybe we can build something awesome! I do a lot of talking out the story before we start, but I think it helps make the whole experience better! If you want a very interactive partner that’s invested in creating something cool, I’m your girl.

For the most part, I like building something from the ground up with my partner, but I do have a few idea bouncing around… and I’m given to understand that the thing to do is to share your ideas in a post like this:

- I’ve seen people tell very traditional romances in their threads, and that might be a fun thing for me to try, given my tendency to drastically overthink this stuff. Maybe just two college kids? We can play them as they fall in love! If you're really into creating living, breathing characters, and love to dig into the nuance of relationships and sex, this would probably be a really fun one

- Renaissance Fairs are a lot of fun, and if you go to them a lot, there’s definitely a undercurrent of sexuality there. I’d need someone who’s familiar with this sort of thing, but some sort of story that uses this setting would be fun.

- I’m a big genre fan, and one of my favorite stories has an awesome gamer premise. I’d love to really dig in and do a hardcore sci-fi story… but that can mean different things depending on what you’re a fan of. This would need a partner that’s really willing to hunker down and sculpt something awesome. We'd have to do a TON of world-building together to really create our own visual language, but I just know the right person would KILLl this.

- Similarly, I know every person reading this is pretty nerdy... and we all have cool fantasy stories in us just waiting to be told. I'd LOVE to hear your ideas for an RP set in an dungeons and dragons style fantasy setting. I bed I'd be a great fit to help you bring it to life!

- For example, here's MY take on a fantasy story (imagine this in a world with similar tones to those old cheaply made fantasy movies from the 80's with lots of skin, like Deathstalker or Beastmaster): During the wedding of the princess, an evil sorcerer appeared, and placed a curse on the entire castle, forcing the king and all his nights to sleep... even the king's royal adviser, one of the greatest wizards in the world. The only survivor of the curse! The wizard's young apprentice! inexperienced and bookish, she has to summon her courage and every bit of her ability as a researcher to hunt down a hidden artifact that will allow her to access the magic to break the curse and save the kingdom! but why didn't the curse work on her? because she was having sex at the time. A charming but roguish sword-for-hire and all all-around cad somehow talked his way into the wedding celebrations, and she wound up hooking up with him... a guy she DEFINITELY wouldn't want to go to breakfast with afterward. the problem is that, in order to keep herself from succumbing to the curse, she has to KEEP having sex with him. every eight hours. She needs his help on her quest, because the journey is perilous... but what sort of debauchery is this guy going to coerce her into when the fate of the whole world is literally depending on her not saying no? (Right up front... I'm a big fan of this story, so I'm likely going to really be selective as to who I write it with. I'd want you to be someone that really enjoys writing for it's own sake... AND someone that is really comfortable with a very nuanced , articulate depiction of sex. I'm probably going to look at your other work. bring references )

- This is a new idea, but I like it. A priest in training is sent to a small town where there are reports of a girl being possessed. the girl he meets is young and beautiful and completely shakes up his world... but which version of her is the real one? (The idea here can be VERY sexual, very quickly. The idea is that I'd be able to shift between a sweet, innocent personality and a very sexualized, almost predatory one, and leave my partner having to deal with never knowing what about her is real, all while falling very much in love with BOTH personalities.)

- My husband is running for president, your wife is his VP. and we CAN. NOT. STOP. FUCKING. (I just like the idea of a story where having sex with someone is the absolute worst thing you can possibly do... it's going to ruin your whole life. This idea might actually be terrible. I have no idea. I just thought it was cute )

- This is an old story idea, but I feel like I want to add something like this: A high school student discovers footage of his teacher that her ex posted online. He manages to get it taken down, but now he has the only copy, and can blackmail her to do literally whatever he wants. I just want something with some open, unapologetic depravity... See what sort of horrible things the right partner can force the poor girl to do.

- I've tried this story once, but it didn't quite take, so I'd like to try it again... bear with me. something that involves kidnapping, and being kept secretly in someone's home, where my girl just becomes completely, utterly owned by her captor, who just uses her unapologetically like his personal secret cumslut. This... is going to need just the write cowriter.

This is a science fiction story that I’ve wanted to do for a long time even before I wrote the introductory post. My character is Jamil, a cyborg in a universe full of cyborgs and humans which have just ended a war. During the war Jamil was injured which turned him into a cyborg and altered his perception and allegiance. But by the time he made the change he found himself on the losing side and the humans eventually won. As a result he became a pirate. After he received his implants he found his wife was dissatisfied as she - as was he before the injuries - were ardent whole human supporters. Their marriage crumbled and he left for the last time. The initial post ends with Jamil capturing a ship with a female captain… your character is the captain and his ex wife. My writing partner never responded to the other thread we had going so I never responded to this one. I’m only interested in restarting this thread.

However, they both happen to be switches, and every day, to find out who's the one in charge, they draw lots. So, every day, the boss is determined by this draw.
