I'm sipping some homemade lemonade ;) I'm thinking about getting ready to make some homemade vanilla extract.

How does one go about making that??

Ugh and I have to go to Walmart - help!!!!

OOOOHHHH and I forgot I'm gonna experiment w/ some red velvet BROWNIES and I think I'm gonna give them a Vanilla Butter Bourbon Buttercream topping :devil:

I love grilling out also :)

I made spicy mango beef skewers w/ a mango dijon dipping sauce.
Paired that w/ lemon thyme rice and steamed veggies and Meyer Lemonade w/ Mint :) -pic is in the "what's for dinner" thread :D

Wow... well done.. those looked delish.... Certainly beats the standard catered beef sandwiches/mostaccoli at the graduation party I had.. LOL

How's the weekend treating you? Make your Vanilla Extract?

Well thank you very much - they were very good and quick to make :)

I've got a bit of a headache :( I think it's b/c of the last PM I got :cool: The author clearly doesn't know what a sentence is, or a paragraph for that matter.

I've not made my vanilla extract yet. I need to decide if I want to buy some vodka or vanilla flavoured vodka first ;)

It's quite simple to make just premium vodka and vanilla beans that you split open and scrape the seeds out and allow it to age in a cool dark place for 4-6 months. :) It will last about 7 years and you just keep topping off the vodka as you use it ;)

It's amazing that someone would actually send that perverted mind puke..
And I may have to try the Vanilla Extract.. thats a great idea..

Yep one and the same. It's not the worst I've ever received :cool:

Yeah homemade vanilla extract is awesome. Just a matter of buying quality vanilla beans, quality vodka and having a clean (glass) bottle to store it in :)

Homemade vanilla is awesome. someone gave me a bottle for christmas and its amazing. So simple who knew!!! And love it for my pancakes i make normal pancake recipe add some of that lil cinnamon and your eatin' good..... :D

Going back to bed now damned dog!!!

Thanks for the nudge...my sleeping habits were all over the place, fell asleep at 0700 woke up at 0900 fell back asleep at 1320'ish woke up around 1600 - yeah I'll be up late tonight :(
