Didn't like Thunderbird at all Mike. A beer now and then but Rum and Coke use to be the drink of choice as I remember. Yes, there were steps to be taken in those days. LOL We went to the Drive In dressed for a date. LOL There was a lot of work to be done to even get to first base. But I still think it was fun in those days. Mike I forgot about the " dry " humping LOL Well, at 17 I had a " romance" with my Drama teacher. He was 37 at the time and I was so infatuated with him. I was Junior and his star actress. It was my third year of Drama. I had heard that another girl student had been involved with him when I was a freshman. He was more like a mentor to me in the beginning. He really brought out my talents but I was always a little nervous about him. I was a very good student and he signed me out of classes all the time to give me individual acting education or for rehearsals etc. It started with some innocent dinner dates ( hamburgers and a malt ) LOL Then some kissing and then some groping. LOL I was very nervous but also fastinated by him. At the same time I was dating a senior that was also in Drama and extremely talented, good looking, Italian ( rare for that high school that was almost completely WASP ). He introduced me to oral sex. Never had intercourse with him but hours of oral sex. Teacher was jealous of Tony and never gave him the lead parts he deserved. My folks intercepted a love note from the teacher and all hell broke loose. They had him fired. He went up to another school in Northern California. I was sent away to a women's college in MO. He came back there and asked me to marry him. That really scared me and I sent him away. He later lived for two year with a student from the other school and she was or is Suzanne Sommers. LOL

Mike I still admired him and hold a soft spot in my heart for all he taught me. He is dead now but many student's adored the man. He did a lot for many of us. He had been married to Lee Remick for a while and had lot's of friend's in the business. We use to have award ceremonies for the Drama Class and all kinds of stars came to give us awards. Biggest Drama department of any high school in the State. He demanded we uphold our grades also. Announced all the ball games. Was quite a man. Just a little quirky.
