THAT CONTINUED YOU ABOUT A MONTH. I DID STOP DATING AS MUCH AND WE WENT ON A COUPLE OF DATES OURSELVES. NOT TO THE HIGH CLASS RESTRAURANTS I WAS USE TO GOING TO BUT TO MOVIES AND SOME CHANGE DINERS. TOOK SOME LONG WALKS ON THE BEACH BUT ALWAYS I SENT HIM HOME BEFORE THE NEIGHBORS GOT UP. LOL PART OF THE REASON FOR THAT WAS THAT MY NEIGHBORS HAD REALLY LIKED MY LATE HUSBAND BUT ALSO KNEW THE EXHAUSTION HE HAD CAUSED ME AND THE PARAMEDICS AND POLICE AND FIRE ENGINES THAT CAME TIME AFTER TIME. I KNOW THEY WANTED A BETTER LIFE FOR ME AND WOULD HAVE BEEN CONCERNED ABOUT THIS RELATIONSHIP. WHAT THEY DIDN'T KNOW WAS THAT STEVE WAS VERY RESPECTFUL OF MY LATE HUSBAND. KNOWING HE HAD BEEN A P51 FIGHTER PILOT ACE IN WW2 HE WAS FASCINATED WITH THAT. STEVE IS NOT EDUCATED BUT VERY WELL READ AND LOVES HISTORY.
THERE WAS ONE MAN THAT I HAD BEEN RATHER INTERESTED IN PRIOR TO MEETING STEVE. I HAD DATED HIM QUITE REGULARLY AND WE HAD BEEN INTIMATE. HE HAD AN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND WAS OUT OF THE COUNTRY A LOT OF THE TIME.
HE CAME BACK AND ASKED ME IF I WOULD LIKE TO GO ON A LONG WEEKEND GOLF TRIP WITH HIM AND I SAID YES. NOW I HAD TO TELL STEVE I WAS GOING. I SAT DOWN WITH HIM AND EXPLAINED IT TO HIM AND TEARS ROLLED DOWN HIS FACE. I TRIED TO MAKE HIM UNDERSTAND AGAIN THAT I JUST DIDN'T SEE A FUTURE FOR US. HE ASKED ME PLEASE TO NOT GO BUT I TOLD HIM I WAS GOING AND I DID. THAT WAS SINGLY THE WORST WEEKEND OF MY LIFE. EVERYTIME I HOPE A COMPARTMENT IN MY GOLF BAG THERE WAS A LETTER FROM STEVE. I SPENT MORE TIME THAT WEEKEND SNEAKING AWAY TO CALL HIM ON THE MY CELL PHONE THAN ANYTHING ELSE. ON THE WAY HOME I TOLD THE OTHER MAN I WAS SORRY BUT I WOULD BE AVAILABLE ANYMORE. I COULDN'T WAIT TO GET HOME AND CALL STEVEN BUT I DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT BECAUSE AS THE OTHER MAN AND DROVE AROUND THE CORNER I SAW STEVE CAR PARK ON THE BLOCK. THAT NIGHT WITH STEVE WAS EVEN MORE SPECIAL THAN THE FIRST NIGHT.

Well Steve, wasn't a paying member so he was restricted to a few lines in his profile and one picture I could see. It was him in a racing uniform, standing next to race porsche. LOL Age wasn't given. I could see that because I was a paying member. He was honest though when I questioned him about that the first night. He was a mechanic for race porsches at the time. LOL He had cap on in those pictures though and I didn't know he had hair down to the middle of his back. It is the truth honey..........so help me God.

Good day to you darlin. Guess you are serving your buddies a warm breakfast right now. Sounds yummy to me. Steve just went to pick me up a bavarian cream donut. LOL Usually we go to brunch on Sundays at the golf course but he is expecting someone to come to pick up some parts today.
Today is just beautiful here with a high expected to be 87. Is it really November? LOL
I surely don't mean to imply in this story that Steven isn't a real " man ". He is very strong and opinionated but fair. Please know that I don't do all the talking in this relationship. Both he and I are honest. That is essential also to solid relationship.

It was my purpose to tell Steve everything in my past, good or bad. He had told me he didn't need to know it all but I said it was what I needed to tell him. I even took him on some " field trips " that I will incorporate in the story. LOL Steve on the other hand is more of a man in that he never was a " kiss and tell " individual. Being older............his past love life was not significant to me. He had lived with 4 or 5 women but he fell in love with me and I was the one he wanted to marry.............so why would I worry about those in his past?

I guess most know that we don't swing or play around and are devoted. I am not bi sexual or turned on by any other man. I am just about friendship. I don't judge other's for their venues. Mike, please call me Judy darlin. It is my real name. When I first came to the internet I decided that most people use an alias so I figured if I use my own name..........who would know the difference. LOL I am totally honored to be your first post dear. I will treasure that thought. I must admit to lurking myself on ocassion. There are some thread's I have stumbled into that I just find alittle disturbing and have really nothing I can say in a post to them. But I do try to get around to as many as possible and leave a nice compliment. I have only been on here for about 10 days so I am kind of feeling my way around. I do think that women that take the time to take pictures, resize, cope etc and then post them deserve some acknowledgement though. Men also.
Please know darlin that I made many mistakes in my past concerning relationships. I surely don't have all the answers but I was vehement about making the right choice this time. I knew this had to be it. I have never thought about " what if I had met Steve first ". Not resonable. He is 20 years younger so we met at the perfect time.
So many very young men ring me up on Yahoo or leave me PM's and they are fascinated by older women. I am talking about 19 year old's, etc. It's flattering but distressing in some ways. Depending on our ages and what we are looking for...........age plays a part.
Mike don't give up looking. Sometimes I tell other's that are..........get off the internet and get out in the world and find her. LOL Steve and I meeting on the internet is unique. I know other's that have but the odd's are not in anyone's favor on sites like these. I TOLD HIM THAT CONCERNING HIS SURFING............I CONSIDERED THAT A GOOD RECREATIONAL HOBBY BUT NOT A WAY OF LIFE. I COULD NOT GO GALVANTING AROUND THE WORLD TO LIVE ON SOME BEACH WITHOUT ANY SEMBLANCE OF NORMALCY. I ASKED THAT HE GET A " REAL JOB " THAT WOULD GIVE US SECURITY NOT WEALTH, IF HE WANTED TO MARRY ME. ( HE HAD ASKED ME THAT MANY TIMES ). I ALSO SAID I WOULD GIVE HIM SIX MONTHS TO PROVE HIMSELF TO ME.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT I WANTED HIM TO DO THIS NOT ONLY FOR ME BUT FOR HIMSELF. STEVE HAD NOT WORKED ENOUGH IN HIS LIFE TO EVEN QUALIFY FOR SOCIAL SECURITY. I KNEW IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO ME HE WOULD NEED TO BE ABLE TO CARRY ON FOR HIMSELF. I ALSO TOLD HIM THAT MY STOCKS AND PROPERTY WERE IN PLACE FOR MY CHILDREN AND HE WOULD NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THEM AT THE TIME OF MY DEATH. THESE ARE NOT EASY THINGS TO SAY TO A MAN THAT YOU LOVE AND WANT TO MARRY BUT ONE OF THE ISSUES OF A RELATIONSHIP THAT HAS YEARS OF DIFFERENCE AND LIFE STYLES. IN RETURN, I WAS MORE THAN HAPPY TO GIVE UP A LOT OF THINGS I WAS USE TO IN LIFE. MY NEEDS WERE SIMPLE. LOVE, SECURITY, COMPANIONSHIP, FRIENDSHIP AND SEXUAL SATISFACTION. LOL
