Yep, it can be done! Sex outdoors is always great! It probably wouldn't work too well if there isn't much lubrication between the two of you. We were on a large step near the deep end of the pool. We've done it the ocean as well in about 4 feet (~1.2 meters) of water. The water would probably wash away the lubrication if it went on for too long, so marathon sessions may not work too well. We were fairly discrete both times, but we made it quick anyway. We were at it long enough for us both to have an orgasm both times. Lubrication has to happen fairly quickly, and the guy has to be able to stay firmly erect under pressure while in an odd position. I've heard speculation that water could be forced into the vagina, but this didn't seem to be an issue for us.

Did it in a large hot tub once. It was different especially in the buoyancy of the water, that made moving back and forth feel different. it felt really good though.

I always found myself dealing secondhand with the problem that Passion2BFree mentioned--chlorine and other pool chemicals seem to be far bigger problems for the ladies than for men, and they inevitably reminded me of their misery later on.

We've done it in tubs, hot tubs, lakes, showers and swimming pools. We like water . Lubrication was not an issue and it was incredible WHEN WE WERE 25 YEARS OLD. Now, lubrication does tend to be an issue, but there are non-water soluble lubes that make that better. Give it a whirl.
