Just wondering how you hide/store your collection from prying eyes and or little hands. I have an eight year old that I really don't want to explain these things to. I was thinking a cash deposit bag that locks. Good idea? I don't have a huge collection but I'd like to have them accessible yet discreet. Just leaving them in a bedside drawer seems to be inviting investigation.

How about one of those "fireproof" boxes that lock? Or even a small cash box rather than a bag. You can get these boxes at Target or Walmart and most are of a size that would fit under your bed. We keep ours in a "memory" box like people use for old cards and letters and it fit under the bed for easy access. It doesn't lock but we no longer have kids at home and they're now old enough that no explanation would be necessary, excepprhaps to dispel the shock that we use them. Our daughters probably have their own at this point and who knows, maybe they and my wife could compare notes. LOL!

I'd opt for a box over a bag, probably - just my personal preference. Anything that can take a lock would work, from a briefcase to a gym bag w/ zippers that you can apply a travel lock to to a tool box that can be locked with a padlock.

I have a nice sized antique looking chest that
sits on a shelf by the bed, which we attched an old school key
lock to.

You'd be amazed the number of people who comment
on the chest and how origional it is.

And have no idea whats inside

I imagine that with a bag you'd still be able feel what's inside or press the buttons through the fabric...

Buy a new door knob for you closet door with a keyed lock in it.

We have a small entertainment center in our bedroom with storage for dvds, etc. Home Depot sells small universal lock kits with keys. I added one of these to the door of the entertainment center. They work great on cabinet doors and drawers.

I keep mine in a suitcase in my closet and have the TSA lock on it.

Be careful about throwing them all into a bag. Some of the silicon toys don't play well with others...as I have unfortunately learned from experience. :(

No kidding, I'd love to have one of those.

And I'd fill it with sex toys too.

I am an uncreative duck. If my toys came with a nondescript bag I put them in that and chuck them into my nightstand. Otherwise, I have this toiletries bag that came with a luggage set. No one ever asks what's in it and if they did I'm ready with an answer of "oh yeah, I keep my toothbrush/paste, soap/shampoo, hairbrush, pads, etc in there."

Very true. If there's any chance of the materials interacting, it's good to wrap the toy in plain muslin and keeping it away from other questionable toys prior to storing it.

If you can find a zippered shoe storage container, that'd be a good place to store toys under the bed with the addition of a small lock.

Right now I have washbag that contains my vibe, some lube, some wipes and a flannel (yes it gets washed frequently). Means that its difficult for random stuff to attach itself to my vibe (like hairs blurgh), also people don't tend to randomly open wash bags, because you know, who wants to look at shampoo bottles or toothpaste.

Then that is stored in a drawer under my bed that is full of all sorts of crap, old belts, hats, scarves, notebooks etc. So, most of the time it, it isn't at risk of being disturbed. However that has not always been the case, at uni I just had a few in my top drawer under a pair of knickers, for easy and regular access, lol!

And it never ceases to amaze me what some women will do to receive comments on their chest. Especially since most guys would cheerfully offer them, anyway.

Maybe it would be easier to add a lock to the drawer. Or is that just an invitation?

We keep ours in a safe in our closet (keyed and combination). Both of us were curious teens growing up and a locked brief case was to intriguing to be left alone. A 14 year old boy will spend hours trying every combination possibility to open a locked brief case. I know that I tried 825 times on the case in my dad's closet.

Always start at 999 and work down. It's human nature to choose high numbers for those types of lock combinations.

We keep our most commonly used toys in a book safe. Looks like a dictionary (no chance my boys are going near one those, LOL). This works great. The rest are kept in a gun safe in our closet.

Think it's better if you don't lock them up? Don't make them the forbidden fruit and there won't be a temptation? Or is that irresponsible?
