OK, here's an outline that just came to me (so to speak)... :>

open in media res, couple having sex. through the exposition, show that we're looking at a sci-fi scene (zero-g, maybe references to holographic gadgets). after our lovers are done, dialogue makes clear that they're freedom fighters against an oppressive interstellar government. they head towards the cabin of the ship they're in and realize they're off-course and running out of supplies so decide to visit the uncharted but lush-looking planet below.

during their descent, a storm (or something) damages the ship, forcing them to crash-land. the rest of the story is them trying to survive while at the same time make copious use of the planet's incredible vistas as backdrops to their lovemaking.

OK, that's really as far as i've gotten.

cap: didn't watch DS9 either then, huh? ah, well.

That's a really good premise, though ain't you skating on Firefly's thin ice, with the whole rebellion aspect of it? Not saying that it isn't worth going with though, cause it is...

Yeh I watched DS9, but absolutely dispise Enterprise that's stoopid :p. Just sayin, anything before early 90s in sci-fi is too old for me ;)

Yes well, the thread has sort of wandered off track thou, IMO still sort of IS on track, cause we're discussing sci-fi SHOWS and this is about a possible sci-fi sex story.

The disclaiimer might be necessary yes, but thought it would have been pretty self-evident. Got anything to add to this?

cap: don't mind bi: she's just irked she can't get in on any postcount spiking... :>

firefly isn't about being freedom fighters so much as regular folk just trying to make their way in a fucked up world/solar system. interstellar governments are such a sci-fi staple that i just couldn't think of anything else.

enterprise and voyager were teh sux, as they say. there were only 2 reasons to watch voyager: jeri ryan. :D

So noted... and I guess I can agree with that

Umph to be honest, I didnt think Janeway was all that bad in Voyager either, myself...

Though Seven of Nine (Ryan) was the epiphany of greatness in that series :)

I'm used to boring shit. I married a Star Whores nerd.

(He's kind of a Trek fan as well, but luckily not one of those crazy assed fanatics! )

Star Whores, I do not get... I'm more of a fan of the two Stargate shows than any of the others, own all the dvd boxsets and have been working on a lot of fanfic on them :)

But no, the cons, actors, making-ofs, in-depth analysis is where my eyes start to glaze over, and where my interest slowly fades away... ;)

Yeah, unfortunately, I know all too much about that as well...the nerdy ones are so cute, except when they talk sci-fi, then you want to smack them.

I saw the movie, never the series. (And all I remember about the movie is the transsexual Del of The Crying Game was some kind of king or whatever. lol)

I take it you didn't watch the last season, which from what everything I've heard, totally rocked, and has been declared by many fans the best season of any ST show ever?

Manny Coto is God!

No I did not... about halfway through season 1, I was lost, but maybe I'll give it another go around when it gets to satellite TV :)

Manny Coto?

As a sci-fi series it absolutely blows my mind! Freakin AWESOME! :nana:

I highly recommend it if you are a fan of ancient history, too, because it works that into the mix in a very effective, fluid way. The series takes what the movie built upon to a whole new level

Yes that guy was pretty suss, if you're talking about the Ra actor... he might have taken that to a whole new level of extreme than what was asked/expected of him :p

What I'd love to see is a continuation of Georgetasker's Busty Space Pirates series. What a great concept? The crew generally fucks each other during anything! The Captain has sex with the Doctor while he's explaining their current situation to the rest of the crew, and for some reason, as ridiculous an idea as it might sound, it actually worked and was a definite turn-on. ^_~

I'm in total agreement here.

I'd also like to see a continuation of Agent86's "Sara the AstroSlut".

I'm working on this

I'm working on a sci-fi sex story called The Blue. It's going to be an adult comic book and involves action and lots of sex on a massive space station that is a hedonistic resort.

Mst3k

By the way, MST3K rules and the greatest syndicated sci-fi TV show of all time was Cleopatra 2525. My wife and I laughed until we were sore at that show, and we wanted to bang the entire female cast.

OMG! How could I have forgotten Cleopatra 2525??!!!??!?! I loved that show!! :D

I didn't try to impose any particular idea of mine on the concept. Obviously, my ieas will run to what I enyoy writing and reading. The concept, however, has so much more portential. running it through so many diffuse minds, it could go, practically anywhere.

I already write sci-fi/mil fiction in my own universe. The gneral thrust is Sapphic, as that's what I write, but the possibilities are just endless. I was putting it out there more as a basic concept for story writing.

I'm glad to see there is enough interest for th thread to run to two pages :)

obviously, i need to re-acquaint myself w/ some of our work. i appear to have missed those.

I've ha some modest success with my sci-fi/erotica fusions. If you are willing to write the sci-fi, the erotica really seems to flow into it. I think in a lot of sci-fi/fantasy I read, there is a repressed element of the erotic.

Love that theme song!

The theme song was hysterical. "In the year 25-25, these women are fightin' to stay alive!" The show even had an evil clown villain.

Another great syndicated show with a hot female cast was She-Spies. We couldn't get enough of that show, either.

Was actually a XXX movie from about 20 years ago, back when they had plots, dialogue, and acting. It was like Fantasy Island, where you could go as a single or a couple and live out your fantasies for a weekend. Most of the supplied mates were robots (Cyborgs?), controlled by a central control room, programmed to do exactly what the client wanted or needed. Some were life changing events, or marriage savers. There was a bus load of people and they were interviewed individually before their fantasy was set up. In the end, when the switch was thrown to end the weekend, only one woman and man were seen to be humans, who were running the whole thing.
It was pretty good.
It would work even better as a futurespace travel place where EVERY imaginable fantasy, and some we can't imagine, could be filled.

some modest success
you have 64 stories on lit, of which only one is not rated hot. don't be modest: there's a reason you're one of my favorite authors here. :>

I've never really thought about sci-fi....however, I now that I'm thinking about it, there are a few hotties on battlestar galatica, and a few on the star track spin offs. One of the hotties went to be on the tv show Becker.

So you have the excitment of being in a new place, no rules, and finding new things....could be fun!
