Nancy nodded a little as she listened about Suri. She took a few sips as Elsie spoke, setting her nearly empty glass down when her opinion was asked. A shiver of excitement went up her arm as Elsie's fingers brushed lightly over hers. She picked up the wine glass and refilled her glass.
"Well, I can't say for certain what happened between those two. I've only been his partner since after the academy, when we were assigned together. He's always been a go-getter for as long as I've known him. He's always bending the rules somehow, but his results often make up for that."
She giggled softly for a moment.
"It's really no odder than the demons we've been dealing with. They were just a myth until recently. Maybe Suri and Joesph have some kind of history."
She smiled as the waiter soon returned, bearing a tray of food. He placed the food in front of the ladies before bowing and leaving them to eat. Nancy smiled for a moment.
"Looks and smells good."
Beneath the table, her toes continued to stroke Elsie's calf before gliding up to brush against her thighs for a moment before pulling away.
