What the hell, you weren't suppose to remember that. Amnesia drugs my ass.

Unrelated to this thread, but related to this comment and interesting: ketamine induces amnesia. Fun side note: Anaesthesiologists will TOTALLY give you a nice big dose of ketamine if there's even a suggestion that you were conscious at any point during a general anaesthesia procedure. So if you ever go under for surgery, just chew on that...you could wake up during the procedure due to poor anaesthesia, and never even remember the fail of the anaesthesiologist :p

Diazepam has some amnesiatic effects as well, but I don't think they use it in this context.
